Dear folks, let me explain how a game went

It was a bomb base game, a blue used the glitch to spawn in the base side of hamburger hill. I think he was at the base of it and promptly started shooting hangers while the reds were calling him a cheat. He was a pretty good distance from the base i think.

in the meantime here comes crockett, thats me folks, well i was shooting reds as fast as i could and i was doing a good job of it. Well one player, well known, was calling us cheats.

I said im just shooting reds and trying to bomb. Im not even sure he was refering to me. What was i suppose to do, turn around and go back home because a teammate spawned into their territory.

I had games today where players spawned at our base right next to the hangers. It didnt make me mad, i came back and got him before he got to many of them. Eventually i lost the game that way.

well so what, i like that glitch, i would like to see it stay, for both sides. Its fun trying to o get them.

Anyhow the player than said he wouldn't play with cheaters and left. I really think to many folks are just to sensitive.

Many of us know where the line is, for tank spawning, until it is a part of the game that makes it not a glitch, I won't tank spawn in the "protected" area. Many do however and it doesn't bother me. I like games that are 20 minutes or so and this just "helps" the game along.

Davy your name and the word cheating will never belong in the same sentence ,you crack on you done no wrong , not that my opinion holds much sway , but im pretty damn sure the reds that were doing the moaning have shall we say pushed the boundaries of fairness before

well technically its not cheating as you know Davey i got it in a game against you and didn't use the glitch to take the last hangar and pressed auto destroy (after taking your plane out lol)as i didn't think it was fair play as the glitch wasn't available to your team .
i remember you telling me on the phone after the game i should have used it and if it wasn't the last hangar maybe i would have done so
also it was never a glitch when i first started playing you could tank anywhere it was fun but people abused it instead of carrying bombs they dropped and went hovering over the base so they can get shot down and tank on the base i think that's why zup changed it .
i see people dropping and trying to get shot over the base to get the glitch now and i feel its not fair sportsman ship and i say fair doos to any guy who goes the whole way with a bomb and gets shot over the base and attempts to play fair but don't take all the hangars be fair don't ruin the game for greed

I've only been playing for 5-6 months now, but I've never been in a game where ANY Misfit has cheated. Yes, yes, I have cursed many times when the [M] was red, but never for cheating. Cheers to the whole squad.

On another note, I was going to change my name to [M]usky Hog as a joke. Then I finished my coffee and realized it was a bad idea.

I don't see it as cheating. I just don't like that only one side can do it if it went both ways then game on. But for now I won't get in a tank at the base. I will if I'm still on the hill though.

Was I cheating? I just thought I was really lucky!!!

I FEEL IF ITS TANK GLITCH AND IT ONLY GIVES ONE SIDE OR CERTIAN PILOTS TO SPAWN IN TANK AT AN ENEMY BASE IT IS CHEATING BECAUSE THEY DO HAVE CONTROL OF THE GLITCH ...ALL THAT THEY HAVE TO DO IS PUSH RETRY OR WALK..THEY CHOOSE TO USE GLITCH THERE PUSHING BUTTON THAT READS WALK ....NOW IF YOU SPAWN IN ENEMY TERRITORY IN TANK AND IT SPAWNS YOU IN A TANK WITH OUT CHOICE...I WOULD SAY NO NOT CHEATING CARRY YOUR RUN OUT....BUT THAT IS NOT WHATS HAPPENING.. AND IF EVERYONE HAD THAT OPTION...NOT CHEATING AT ALL...TY MEAN FOKKER

Yes I totally agree. People would argue the game let them and its a glich: not under there controle: but they are the ones clicking walk. That is cheating. If it ever happens I will say the same as mean: click retry: not walk. If you click walk, then I say yes you are definetly cheating.

Was in a game yesterday which featured the glitch. I autodestroyed both times since I don't feel it is honorable game play, specifically since it is a "glitch" and not built into the game intentionally.

If the day comes where it is no longer a glitch I would love to shoot some hangars point blank like that.

I like my cider dry.

The other blue was taking advantage of a glitch. (I don't think Davy was doing anything wrong.) I fully understand why the red was mad about it but is it really such a big problem that it ruins the game? I guess it did for the complaining red. Now what? There is no way to make it an enforceable rule. I'd say it falls under:

Do we really need to spell out a rule book when you know you are ruining the game for all the other team? If you know it is ruining the game, you know it is wrong. Trying to excuse it with: where are the rules? It's like pissing on the kitchen of a bar and say that there is no sign saying it's forbidden.

Zup making it unable to go to a tank in enemy territory was a good idea precisely for the reason Dognamitt said. If you could, one of the 'best tactics' would try to get shot down right by the enemy hangars. It would heavily encourage all the things that sensitive people already complain long and hard about. (dropping, sneaking, camping)

I'd call it a cheat but I don't think it's worth getting too upset about it since it's only an intermittent glitch. What's the worst thing that can happen, you lose a game? I'm more annoyed with the glitch that allows invisible red soldiers on the carriers who can shoot you with immunity. FLAME POSTS ARE MORE OF A 'GAME RUINER' TO ME!!! (And they're actually against the rules.)

Well to clarify this a bit. I was being shot at, however I do have a real good "ChaChaCha" move that I use and dodged many shot's. I also had some real good cover fire (and some very frustrated reds crashing) that allowed me time to get dialed in. All of my shot's were very long, right at the limits of the tanks range. At first I was quite happy with myself, thinking "damn I still got it!!!" Now however, I think it may have been the gift of lag.....

I wonder how many sensitive reds would consider it "cheating" if your team mates had dropped and covered you.

Last night I was in a game and 5-6 times in a row I got shot down on the allied side of the hill and had the option to tank which I didn't take. On the 4th or 5th time this happened I did however pull out my rifle and shot down REZ to protect incoming bombers. We all got a laugh out of that one

I wouldn't be opposed to allowing players to spawn closer to the enemy base, but there needs to be a line.
The very next game I played I shot down a guy who was right above my base and he landed INBETWEEN two of our hangers and got a tank......that's not very fair gameplay in my own opinion.

I prefer taking plane rather than tank if it's a glitch.

More and more people knows about this glitch and now deliberately flying without bomb to reach opponent base and take tank. It happened to me today evening when a player deliberately doing it by first flying without bomb and then bombing hangars using the glitch. A good game ends in a minute.

We should not encourage this as all are not taking it lightly as we are. To them it's a sort of competition and they want to play fair. We are encouraging them to use the glitch whenever it is available to them. Being senior atleast we should not be quoted as "when he can do, what's wrong if we also do it". We should guide them to play fair and honorable.

Imagine a new comer who got killed by experienced player one after the other and due to the glitch got tank near enemy base and blow up the hangars. Imagine the fun he would be experiencing when his team mates tell him good job, well done. Now he knows how to use the glitch and in the next game he will try to go for that glitch rather than improving his game. He will quote that glitch to his friends and the chain continues and the day will not be far when we complain to zuperman.

My only point is being senior we should not give reasons to play unfair to those who look up to us as their role model.

Well I don't know how many, if any of the players on my side dropped? I was all the way on the other side sitting in a tank, doing some kind of "African Ant Eater Dance" shooting long shots at hangers.
From what I can tell tho, winning really is not so much fun any more. I did not realize there was the glitch of dropping at there base in a tank (NOT What I did) but .... Ahhh never mind
