If u say that u do not shoot while ppl r taking off or landing, make sure u stick to it so other ppl know to show u the same respect.. I'm learning who is true to their word, n who is not..

Excellent post, just bear in mind it's ok when coming into bomb and you are at enemy base to shoot down planes taking off to stop you,by this I don't mean circling around, just on the straight approach to release bombs on the hangars, this is the only time it's acceptable. If you play this game for long enough you will see all it's great characters.good luck sir.

C even on approach I let em take off n at least try to maneuver n give em a chance. But wen theres 2 of the same team coming in, there's no need for it. One of em will bomb successfully most of the time. Idk, I jus dnt like spawn killing at all. I lil the challenge of being shot bak. How else do u get better but by challenging urself..

That's fair enough, though you will find most players who are taking off when they can see someone coming in to bomb expect to be shot down.

When I'm heading in to bomb the base, I start laying down suppressing fire. If there are two or more planes down there, it's hard to know who is where and so it's sort of a spray and pray, but just to try and get in and bomb.

After I bomb I do my best to leave, unless someone is chasing me, then I fire back until I can get away. I never strafe the runway after I have bombed though.

Because of the direction of the two bases, if i am coming in to bomb the allied base, i am hosing down the runway. Not going to stop shooting to let the reds shoot first. If i am on a run at the german base then their take off requires them to turn to shoot at me. I will shoot as they are turning. Again not going to let them shoot first after i have made it that far. I wouls estimate that by doing this i get to bomb about 1 in 4 times, the other 3 or more i get shot down anyway. If there are no blues inbound then i try to leave and get out to tank range before turning to fight. If there are inbound blues i will try and draw the fight away from the red base. I do not, ever, lurk behind spawn point to kill planes before they have any chance. The option to tank at enemy base is not available to me.

When im coming in to bomb, i will rack the runway myself. If i can make it to drop my bombs, then i drop and try to return to base. There is no reason for any one to stick around and camp if ther are no incoming bombers. Unless that pilot(s) seriously has it coming, then its called payback.

When I'm on a bomb run i shoot everything and everybody, men, women, children, fuel trucks, and anything else that gets into my way.

I dispensed a little of that this morning. Actually it was a teamkilling, but after twice on me and at least once on another blue, i declared war on donnel the king. He seemed to think it would be "ok" to teamkill and then say "sorrry". I did not say sorry once, and dont know why i did not get a 5 minute ban, but he finally left. In a rather un-kingly fashion.

Same thing happened to me last night. Was teamkilled right before i dropped my bomb. The douchbag said sorry, but after 3 times, i kinda got fed up. The next game he was red, so i made him a ghost like me. I really hope he remembers who i am.

One time I made a bomb run with guns a blazing at anything that moved, dropped my bombs successfully, and started to run like heck.
That's when I noticed I was out of ammo...., so I flew around in circles near (not behind) enemy base.
Enemy all came after me while my team flew right on in.

Then I was accused of camping - I had to remind them that I had been out of ammo and never fired a shot.

IVE DONE THAT MORE THAN ONCE AND WAS ACCUSED OF CAMPING ALSO....LOL

If I'm coming in I'm.shooting throw empty beer cans carrot stubs barf bags even davys depends at anything that might shoot back.I've learned from experience and being shot down on approach to bomb .and yes I have hung around out of ammo just looping being a pesky rabbit .but if I have bombed and there is a plane just coming in I Will shoot to protect my team mate if there is no plane or tank there I leave if I'm shot at while leaving I will turn and fire and try to leave again .I did leave a enemy base after bombing and was not shot at but followed to my base about three quatersof the way over I turned and fired and was quickly called a dropper .even though I did not shoot his tank but returned to my base got a bomb went back and dropped it on his head .I was not going to.let him follow me in and bomb my base about

I'll be true to my word...if I'm lucky enough to make it to red base, I promise to shoot any red attempting to take off and shoot me..once I bomb, I head back unless A. I'm shot at...then I'll return fire or B. A blue is right behind me and going to bomb (exception to this is when the reds are outnumbered...)

I try and catch the bomb's...... Sadly however... I am way better at catching the bullets

Shoot the bomb before it hits! Save the hanger.
Or you can get under the bomb and let it blow you up. Either way, save the hanger.

He is possibly talking about a ctf game he and I were in. (he was red) A team mate got the flag and wht was red and trying to get airborne to pursue my team mate with the flag. I would let him up high enough to drop his bombs but not shoot down the blue who was outbound with the flag in tow. Whtknight got a bit peeved and told me to stop spawnkilling. I explained I was not going to let him shoot down the guy with the flag, period.

That may be what prompted this thread, but I cannot say for sure.

I think we all agree when inbound with bombs you shoot everything and anything red.

Sorry but if it was CTF if my guy has he flag till he gets mid field I'm pinning reds down to runway I'll protect that flag at all cost

I do it often as well! And it works most of times!

No, u were fine. I was airborne wen u shot me. B4 u came in the game this happened. N a red spawned a tank rite by base. Giving his team time to come. He killed 3 of us lil 5 times b4 n e one could take off. We finally got em dwn. The whole game b4 u came in we were spawn killed many times. Also, I did not no tht about the breaks making u immune.

If I'm inbound with a bomb I'm raking landing strips and carrier decks. Planes, tanks, men, women, children, small furry things, kitchen appliances, all shot to bits. No apologies, no remorse. "How can you shoot innocent women and children?", it's easy, you don't lead them as much.

The occasional exception I make is new guys in the game that are obviously just learning. Sometimes I'll let them up but swirl and dodge and make them chase me in. If I've already been knocked down twenty times inside enemy territory though, the gunsite is on your left eye the whole time, waiting for the wheels to so much as twitch.

Somebody was making butthurt noises a few days ago after an even game where there were three to four reds inside enemy territory on every pass, I got knocked down each run after hitting three or four but not able to get through all of them plus chute fire, and when two reds left I finally shot my way in and hammered everything in sight to get the last hangars. Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentations of the their women.

Personally I think it's funny when you are raking 3 planes at the same time, they keep re spawning and crashing, crashing into the hangers, I just laugh and laugh. It makes my entire day.
