She's doing great.

Her uncle (mother's brother) contacted her today for the first time in years. A few years back, when the girl's grandmother died, her dysfunctional mother drove off all of her extended family. Mom has some rudimentary legal training and a lot of shady connections. Between dubious threats of violence from her Hells Angels friends and a slew of frivolous lawsuits, most of the relatives had backed away. It was really sad. The uncle has a permanent restraining order due to threats of violence against him, his wife and their kids. The mom was once arrested trying to break into his house while they were home, armed with a tazer. She didn't know he had recently gotten a rottweiler. :lol:

Anyway, all of the extended family is now in touch again and we're planning a sort of a reunion for them. The daughter is much more relaxed knowing her mom can't get any legal leverage over her ever again. We're just hoping the mom will leave town soon. Then we can have a "gone away" party.
