Hi Sir Wumper,

You are right about "I get the feeling in my hands that I can't move my line of fire back." It happens to me many times that you want to move firing point a little either way but struck and by the time your plane is on fire.

But it is nothing to do with the signal. The solution is, make the plane go extremely left/right/up/down in other words disengage and then reengage. Try this.

Sometimes due to lag the crucial maneuver responds late but definitely it is nothing to do with signal strength.

Good Day

I find that i am pressing fire harder and holding the ipad more tightly as the game heats up. I have found that relaxing my touch allows better response. Almost as if the hard press on fire button overrides movement.
YMMV

Is this an iPad thing? All this time I thought that it was me. You know getting old and slow reflexes, always seem like I would freeze up and couldn't move in the direction I needed to under fire. :(

Think you're going Crazy? Great! When you get there look me up and I'll show you around.

Hey Wumper

Must be lag.... lol. No, seriously, thanks for bringing that out. I've experienced that too. Some games (the feew) my bullets go like a magnet to red planes, i just have to slightly move the phone to reach the spot, and in other games my fire is a bit left for example and it stays there even if I move the phone. Then I almost have to shake it to move the line.

I hope you get an explanation for this. At least we know we are not crazy!!

( I will also try not to grab to the fire button like a crazy monkey. Thanks TR!)

No it goes beyond lag, it's defiantly weird nowadays. I will be close to reds and not scoring any hits. Also firing from the chute is weird also. I think the game is the best game out there however I liked it where we could hit reds far far away. It was more fun that way and everyone I talk to agrees with that. I think the game favors the good players even more as we can take our time shooting players that are close because other players are having a difficult time hitting us, then we turn our attention to them.

It has changed the dynamics of the game that's for sure.

Is the limited range already in effect then?

Seem to be missing more often even when the red is right dead center in the crosshairs and coming straight at me.

Wumper wrote: I have an interesting question about tanks. Does the system keep count of number of hits, before I am killed. Because some times I get shot at, and zig zag, and I do get hit but after zigging and zagging, and a plane kill me with just a very few shots, tells me either something is wrong or the system is counting up the total.
Anyone know.

Sir Wumper,

I asked that question to zuperman and his reply was it depends where you hit the tank, Minimum bullets to take down tank is 15 and maximum is 25. But i missed to ask him which is the weakest point in tank that can take it down in 15 bullets.

May be Zup can reply here or anyone can ask him as and when he is available.

I did 't know the exact number of impacts (thanks zup an Blue) but for it s clear that the game counts the total number of impacts received, with independence of the shooter. Sometimes I leave a tank with 12 impacts and the next blue passes, 1 shot and boom, bingo.

About fleeing bullets, I was wondering ix maybe it had something to do with the tim
lt control of the phone (or pad). But I agree it would be great to have some words of Zup about the subject

Couple things about line of fire on iPad... Sometimes you're aim gets locked in and you can't nudge it to give it that sweep that you need. If you release the trigger it seems to allow you to then re-steer the plane then continue shooting.

Also the iPad/screen freezing. I just updated to an iPad Air and it seems to have eliminated the freezing problem. (Most costly update) The iPad Air is so light it takes a little bit of learning how to calmly steer the plane without it appearing nervous.

Has anyone else using an iPad developed a callous on your pinky finger where you hold the bottom of the iPad?

I use an iPad 3, but it's in a cover so I hold it differently than if I just had the ipad.
