probably it works but that ipad has a huge resolution (retina display) and you must touch the button around a different area. For instance, on the left joystick, try touching the area even lower to the left corner of the ipad. You will find out the area playing around with your fingers.

I don't have a retina display ipad so I can't check what's going on, but I saw it happening once on a store that someone was playing the game.

I have a AIPAD air and the same thing happens .
since the last update the game gets stranger and ls controls do not work well .
I had a chance to test it in Aipa mini 2 and is the same.
Before there was only one small problem with the fire button .

Just trying to help.....since you are on this subject:

In the Dutch version of the App store Dogfight can't be found under "flight simulator" or even "simulator"..........(many other combat flight simulators cán).
Its there under "aeroplane" and even "airoplane", but I haven't found it under "airplane".......

Rudolf, that's Apple thing... in the US store you search for Dogfight and you get a competitor (not called Dogfight) as your search result. Not very nice.
On some stores is not even listed, just because Apple feels like it.

Wumper I just fixed it, it will be out on 4.4.87. And the trees, nope, you will crash into them. You see people going through them because they don't have trees: old devices do not display trees because they are not powerful enough to handle them, so they have that advantage if they are flying low. They simply do not see trees on their device, that's why they don't crash with them.
I hope that soon almost all devices will be fast enough to handle the trees and new graphics, at that point I will enforce them for everyone, but right now i can't do that because about 25% of the people still have older phones.
