pilots using glitches to win and ruining good games should be banned like it says in rules of this game...then maybe pilots that are respectful and honorable can have fun in this game.....rules need to be inforced....ty MEAN FOKKER

Yesi agree mean- Quark and gino are both using the tank on carrier glitch gino sat on the carrier til somr fool shot him (that fool being me )then he pulled his chute and shelled the tank from inside the carrier the tank is invisible too so there is no deference i was ranting on world chat calling him a cheat (he was bragging about it )and Zup asked if he wanted to get banned!

Here's an idea, fix the glitches. Some of them have been around for a year +.

NO disrespect to anyone here, but it is real hard for me to get angry at a player that uses something (other than invisibility!) to win a game that the game itself threw into his lap! I'm not talking about hackers or those that exploit invisibility, and I haven't done any of these things myself, but if you were in WWI and a twist of fate & time gave you a laserbeam weapon what would you do? I know it's just a game.. not real war.. but I find it hard to get angry at someone for doing something that the game's designer either should have known about or since fixed.

And yeah, I would be a little ticked off if a long and hard fought battle was won by those means.. but I couldn't blame the guy that did it and would LEARN by the experience..

Zebra I wonder how you would feel if in the middle of a really good game you watched while taking off a red level 31 flying low and slow over the carrier in hopes of getting shot down to exploit the glitch. Same player had tried it once before but the tank tumbled off the deck (I just happened to be watching that too). I am of the opinion it is one thing to have it dropped in your lap but another thing entirely to go out of your way to exploit the glitch for the win which appeared to be the case.

The post game WC consensus was there was no honor in that win and even the reds, victors in this case, were disappointed with said level 31. Not much to LEARN from that except how not to play and who not to play with... unless there is another lesson I missed.

Think of all the people that kill tanks mid field after being asked not to... same applies here. You can tell them not to take the easy kill but the warning almost always gets ignored.

i sorta agree with zebra but its a cheat and not sporting at all i saw someone try it who was a moraf too he landed in chute on deck on purpose after knowing what hes up to i bombed his ass on the deck of our carrier .landing on carrier to exploit this glitch is just points harvesting and ruins the game play .becuz this is a glitch and the tank becomes invisible there is no proper defense

Just to let you know that Zuperman has already taken care of this glitch in DF update 4.4.84. Apple devices are lacking 1 update behind so the glitch advantage is going to be lived only for short span.

DONT MATTER TO ME WIN OR LOSE ...BUT I WONT WIN WITH CHEATERS..AND DONT MIND LOSING WITHOUT THE CHEATING AND USING GLITCHES IT STATES IN DF RULES HACKING AND USING GLITCHES ARE BANDABLE....GUESS I MIS READ THE RULES

why do you just let me know the glitches so I can fix them?

I posted several threads asking for things to fix and those were not on the list. Sometimes I even get on world chat, find out something new and people say: yeah that's been there forever. Then I ask... so why didn't you tell me??

hey zup i did mention the carrier/tank issue with you and quark on wc you said he was asking for a banning i was understanding there was a fix in progress so i didnt want to worry you with things that are in progress of being fixed

Mean, when I ask for opinions specifically on a thread, I never told you to stop complaining.

I said to stop complaining about bugs that were fixed on Apple update but the update was not out because Apple was not hitting the publish button. That's completely different of what you are saying. People that kept complaining about the parachute not working or not able to get into the tank, day in and day out, for 2 weeks, I told them to stop complaining because we got the message the first dozen of times and I explained multiple times it was fixed but Apple didn't release the fix.

Here is a completely different problem:
1) I specifically ask to tell me what's failing... and people don't tell me.
2) Then they go and take advantage of the errors.
3) Then 5 months later come complaining saying "things never get fixed".

HEY Zup sometimes in bomb the carrier the first bomb isnt working you see bomb number 2 and drop it and nothing happens it doesnt drop in the camera view or explode
Also in the catch the carrier game ive had where the carrier wont change colour from white to blue i sat on it and sat and it didnt move

When playing a Capture the Flag mission I can capture the flag but I don't get a "Flag" button so I can drop it!

happened to me too zeb

I was in a game recently and chuted onto a carrier.
I got the choice, and accidentally hit the walk button.
Then thought "oh this is a new thing to explore", turned around and there was a tank.
Hmmmmm "Why not try this" I thought.
Walked towards the tank.
Tank slides off the back of the carrier faster than I can walk to it.

Was that a glitch or a twisted sense of humour from Zup?

that's a bug, on the last update you shouldn't have the walk button at all because it was not finished yet (as you found out). It should never show up.

Anyway I'll open again a thread with pending fixes so please post there, it's hard to keep up with all threads
