I don't see any disadvantage playing against those that have the update and those who don't. Yes the carrier games are a real mess right now but I just say away from them try bomb the base missions they work very good for me. Let me ask you this android flys in the dark while at the same time Apple is fly during daylight hours . Now who has the advantage when it's dark in game? Apple..

I'm not sure where you're located but I am in the US, and I've been pretty much sticking to the 2 US servers. I have noticed very little lag at all for the past few weeks. I also subscribe. I hope this helps Wumper.

We are now 18 days without the apple update.
Today we got an update for kindle.
Now carrier games have same glitches as apple devices. Freeze frame lag, planes appearing in odd places on map. This was blamed on apple players giving bad info. I was on kindle, other player was on android. I asked. Not caused by apple then.
Maybe we will get all devices so glitchy it will all be equal.
And plane will not reload on carrier. I landed with 28 rounds ammo and waited and waited. Yes i hit the brake. No ammo, not even a counter like it used to do. Had to auto destroy to get reload.
Also the watch replay option froze my kindle and had to force restart.
Wumper i feel your pain buddy. I have 2 devices, neither has a right acting game now.

It's not reluctance... they haven't even looked at it yet. I think they probably have like 10 people looking at all updates worldwide because it doesn't make sense they delay so much always.

Yeah, I complained to Apple that when you search for Dogfight you get results for other games on the top of the list. And they said: "really?" which probably stands for: "they paid us a fortune to be there, so suck it up".

You didnt know Zup took vimy away from US and gave it to india? Not sure what thread but he announced it happened a couple of weeks ago. Messines is our only server now. Not sure what the thinking was. Cant be more players there, but oh well.

TR you missed the other threads... Vimy is US again, but if you are on apple who knows what you see. I changed the servers several times until I found the best speed for most. You shouldn't worry too much on which country they are located, just look at the speed bar: green = faster

If you don't pay you get directed to the fastest server. If you pay, you get a choice.

So! Just how many updates are we Apple users behind now? I know I've updated windows 8.1 at least 2 times since last Apple update.
