Ok so I did the latest update for Win 8.1. I have to say it was very cool! The sunset turning to evening and then night with moon and stars is very neat...a comet fits right in with that scene!

But after talking to a few players in game who have also updated to the latest and greatest, they're not experiencing it at the same time.
Has anyone else noticed this? I think (once everyone has the update that is) it should be at the same for everyone otherwise it's not fair for a pilot shooting in the dark while his opponent is playing in the daytime.

But it is pretty darn cool otherwise! I really like it!

Anyone else caught this?
Bannerless and naked. Whatever...

The only advantage Apple players have!
Always daylight even when everybody is groping about in the dark.

It might be too soon to point this out as some platforms are still behind in the latest update. But for the few that do have it, one pilot was commenting on how nice the stars were, while it was still daytime from my viewpoint. I think it's a timed thing and if you enter a game 10 minutes after another player, well he gets the dark 10 minutes before you do...

Just something that needs some ironing out...

it should already be synced. If you enter 30 minutes after the game has began, the server sends you the current hour so you all have the same.

Problem: not everyone can see the new skies, if you have a windows phone, most can't even watch it because few spent money on a nice windows phone. They usually have the lumia 520-580 which is a nice phone but similar on specs to a Samsung s3... meaning, they can't see nice skies.

yeah on my HTC phone I can see the wonderful sky and weather, it's impressive, but I play mostly on an old Galaxy Tab and it's 24 hours of sunshine like I'm in the arctic circle.

That said this current release is awesome, it's also the smoothest I've had in over a year on my old device, the performance is much improved.
