You should check out GIMP:

www.gimp.org/

It's a free, open-source image editor/manipulator, and a good alternative to those who can't afford Photoshop. It's available for pretty much any operating system, too; and there's no lack of tutorials and documentation online.

Have fun!
We liberate from our negative will to nothingness, and once having said yes to the instant, the affirmation is contagious. It bursts into a chain that knows no limit. To say yes to one instant is to say yes to all of existence.

gimp is a free program to download but i wouldn't call it easy to use. there was some learning i had to do. but now i can work with it and i'd be glad to help out with whatever you need.

it's a good program worth checking out for free. it can produce some nice images if you know the right tricks. pm me or post on here what you'd like to get done and we can go from there.

Gimp was suggested to me, but is not easy to use, and I'm learning. I also use some random png apps that are a big help. Mostly, I use random unknown programs that do everything I understand. Much has been learned. I'm currently trying to learn Gimp through YouTube tutorials. The program itself has a help menu that's fairly easy to follow.
