Just wondering what the best squadron to join is I'm a 2 group captain

It really depends on what you're looking for. Check out squad threads here on the forum. Most of them have their "charter" on the first page of their squad thread.

Take your time. No need to be in a rush to join. You will eventually get many invites until you do join one.

Hi slayer, stay away from the NLR, the rumor is that they all eat babies and kick dogs. They have also been infiltrated by the cia and the fbi, in addition I heard that they spy on all their squad mates.

Their are several good squads out their sir, I'm partial to the misfits of course and I believe that we have the best friendships. Many of the other squads are full of mighty fine people also. NLR, GUNNERS, MOM and many more.

Be careful as there might be a few of the newer squads that takes anyone whether they have a good reputation or not. Like MC FATE said, don't be in a hurry.

yh the NLR eats babies and kick dogs but the misfits are rebels they disobey everyone they all share a mind hats what I head LEGENDS are LEGENDS! ohhh and be careful of davy I here he has a pirate ship how weird!

I'd suggest flying for a bit to get to know and chat with the various squads in games. All those listed and more are very good.

I'm in Wolf Pack and we are allied with Gunners INC. Although I have friends in each squad, Wolf Pack was a best fit for me.

Also, I'd suggest reading about the various Squads on front page of each squad thread. Some vary on rules and philosophy, but it can help you decide where you feel you fit best.

I was actually led to the Wolf Pack by the leader of another Squad. Like you've heard said, don't be in a hurry. Dire Wolf mentioned looking at all the Squads on their forum sections. That's solid advice! Best of luck to you in your search. Take your time, find the best fit, and be a loyal member.

there aren't any squads that are all bad or all good. squads are made up of people, so pick one that has people you like in it. if you meet someone that is fun to fly with, talk to them.

the new squads can give you adventure and challenge. being involved with a growing squad is a ton of work (2000 lbs.) but it is very rewarding. old squads are the best to get into but they require you to fly and represent their name well.

new or old, squads are fun if you are looking for that sort of thing. flying solo is good fun too.

did i mention Gunners Inc. is always hiring?

But seriously. Aov is a good starter squad, then you can move in to big and reputabke squads like m.o.m., devils dragons, misfits, wold pack...etc.

Again as mcfate said, take your time, you can never rush a good squad

Squads? Who needs them? Jk. Squads are basically built on a few characteristics.

1. Personality. Your sense of humor. M.O.M, Misfits.

2. Structure. More of a military type if squad. But fun to fly with. 111th Falcons.

3. Flying style. Fight and fly like they do. Drop, camp and sneak. Or maybe the way you dogfight.

As McFate said. Read each thread. Fly with as many pilots from each squad as much as possible. Get to know who you like to fly with and how their squads are ran. I'm sure you will pick the squad that fits you.

If by "babies", you mean the tots at MOM, and by "dogs", you mean the mutts we find in a dogfight, then yes, the NLR eats babies for breakfast and kicks dogs as a pastime.

The advice you've been getting on here is absolutely right, I totally agree, as a level 10 or 11 player you shouldn't be in any rush to join the squad. My vice to you would be to steer clear offhand I call McSquads. These are squadrons with no form page, official rules, or application process. It is of course entirely up to you but I would stay away from any squad that says "Hey! Wanna join my squad?" "Yes?" "Okay, submit your request and I approve it" if it's too easy to join in my opinion, you're not going to be fine with it as good of a group of people as you would with the squad that has an application process. Also I would stay away from any squadthat tells you you will need to follow orders

Is this a trick question? Check the top 100 pilots... Then look in the top 20 tell me what you see. I would have to put [M]isfits at #1

When I think of the basterdly bunch of [M]ifits I can't help but think of the movie FURY.... BEST JOB IVE EVER HAD....

i am pretty sure this thread was put here as a way to get us all arguing over who the best is. if you'll notice the author of the thread only has one post...

but, i'd like to clarify that my list of squadrons to join was not in any particular order but is based on my personal experience of who i see around in games. i do see moms and misfits often. all the squads on that list are actively taking recruits (except the badboys, i think they are done) and have organized themselves to the point that they are seen as a group more than a collection of individuals. with that being said, they would be good groups to join.

the main point was that squads are made of people, so join one that has people you like.

U know what ? The truth of the matter is.. I've been up since yesterday. I know there is sum pilots here who are tired of hearing me say that, but noooo, this time it's for reals ? U see I've been up since yesterday & I haven't had anything to eat as of yet & it's 9:21am here where I'm @. I still have coffee residue from last night in my lining (stomach exterior). I hope u are not laughing because this is not funny ? Hey! I'm try'n to pilot here so why do everybody seems to be coming @ me upside down ?

Not saying anything against anyone or their squads... Just goofing off. However at the end of the day my loyalty rests w [M]y Fa[M]ily.... That's just how I roll. I do like other pilots from other squads and think other squads are great. But I joined the Misfits due to their reputation. Wouldn't have it any other way.

As you can see from the many replies you have had from your original post, there are many squads in the game that you can join. It is all up to personal choice. There are many people here that have decided that they don't want to join a squadron and fly solo, there are many who have been members of several squads and decide to switch squads when they fancy. Whichever squad you decide to join, they won't mind if you have friends from other squads. When all is said and done, we are all here to enjoy the game.

lol I don't know about babies but I have seen mcfate kick a dog or 2 lol ..and misfits I know r big meanies cause there always drinking coolaid and eatin misfit pie an cake ...poor guys r crashing on suger I think ... but all sqd r great in there own way and sqds r like a good warm coat u have to find one that fits you just right !!!!!!!... or you might feel a draft in the wrong places lol ..... welcome to the great land of dogfight !!! have fun an enjoy !!!!
