Yeah sounds lag related. It doesn't take 50 hits to down a plane (I've Ben doing it I'm about 5, but I've been playim gfrom laggy Singapore this week). A few questions:

Which server was this on?
Can you do a ping test to the server?

This is going to stay till all devices have latest update. Right now Apple devices are lagging behind by last update and I suppose when they too get the same this problem resolve.

wumper, are you a subscriber? if you are not, you are getting into the crap servers, which lag a lot. Charli8 I believe is in Spain and you are in USA right? The only way I see that you play together (with big lag) is that you are not a subscriber

I just saw your second post: "The screen no longer shows the server, or I don't know how to find which server I am using."
That's hidden to non-subscribers, so the game assigns you to the slow (cheaper to maintain) servers. Your lag can be pretty big on those since it puts people from India, Spain and USA on the same location.

What a gathered from Zup on wc the other night was fest is now the dragging zone for non subscribers so they can enjoy copious amounts of lag as their free bonus.if you subscribe you can pick mess and its virtual lag free apart from the odd player who lags due to their pi$$ poor connection.vimmy will be india,artois is hong kong.....i think.As a subscriber don't pick fest as you will end up with the laggy servers.
So worth the subs now.
