It has been a theory of mine for quite a while that there are several versions of the game, depending on your device, that we are seeing each time we play. I believe that this contributes to some of the "odd" events that we experience in game. Im not really a computer guy, if you converted my computer knowledge to gasoline there would not be enough to drive a pissant around a thimble, but i believe that when one player shoots through a mountain and kills you it is because to them the mountain is not there for them.

I would like to see what versions we are all using. I know there is a thread about what device do you use and this is similar, but here is the difference:
I use and amazon kindle fire hd and an ipad2, i also have the game on my iphone but there arent strong enough reading glasses in the world for me to play on it.
The versions on each are as follows:
Kindle- appstore says 4.4.79 available. On my device 4.4.59 is what i get.

Ipad2 says 4.4.77 available but what i have is 4.4.59.

Iphone is different still 4.4.77 available but 4.4.58 is installed.

These are all checked today, and in the case of kindle and phone the update was attempted today.

Maybe Zup could tell us what we should have, and why i do not get the version that is in the store.

If younare wondering howvto find out what version you have, look at multiplayer screen, select settings button. In the top right corner you should see a button that says about, push it and find the version in the credits box that appears.

For instance, have you been killed lately after a respawn and takeoff by someone not on the map?

Have you been flying along and killed by someone not on the map until you are on the way down?

How about drill a player 6-8-10 times and turned to shooting another target when the first one kills you before they die? I know thats lag, which is not fixed yet, but it varies a lot. Sometimes as much as 5-10 seconds. Cant stay on that one and keep shooting if there are others incoming, that just makes you a level slow target that is not defending yourself to them.

These arent all of the issues, just a couple that come to mind right now.

Everyone has the same version except for Apple which is one version behind.
But you can't see that based on the store version number. That number is placed by each store. For instance the current version is something like 1.0.69 on Windows, 1.0.73 on windows phone, 481 on android and 477 on apple. That's their internal version number and I have to keep increasing them.

The real version number of the game is always the one listed on settings/about, which is 4.4.59 as of right now.

So the number in the store is only what each app store uses, not our actual version on the device? Ok thanks.
Would the apple version being behind cause events like i described above?
