Well I thought the phone case idea was awesome. And i wasn't just talking about mom pilot cases. .I was talking about cases for each individual squad. Just thought it was a cool idea. Don't see what there is to argue about. I'm a df fan for real. I'll get a tshirt, a phone case, shot glass, whatever. I want it lol. That is all!

Wig's thought seems straightforward enough. Zup left it as an option and if that squad opts out, who are we to say any different? I personally wouldn't buy MOM merch, unless it was cake. Then I would do a swap. MOM's cake for Misfit Kool-Aid.

Echoboom is a company in business to generate profit. I'm a professional artist and writer in business to sell my work unless I choose to do otherwise with it. I'm not a charitable institution here to benefit echoboom and echoboom is not a charitable institution here to "benefit everyone". My clients pay me, echoboom pays its writers and artists, echoboom is not a client of mine and echoboom is attempting to reproduce and sell my work without permission. Even you should be able to figure it out.

The moment you post your graphics into the Dogfight forum and it is a Dogfight Squadron you realize it gives permission for use on any of the game stuff if we see it fit. Even you should be able to figure it out.

Aside from that, I asked if anyone didn't want to be included just let me know, I have no intention of making a profit from the t-shirts, it was a detail to the community and Jesus spent hours working on those thinking you would like them. Your legal bullshit and email was way out of line.

Your banners and logo breaks copyright laws, a flying heart has copyright and a trademark and it is not yours. Just adding text over it or hand drawing the logo doesn't exempt it from the violation. Also you include pictures of girls that gave you no permission and may be viewed as a violation of term of services. You want to be a pain and something that was done in favor of the community as a whole turn it into your own personal crusade?

I think the idea of having Squad logos, graphics,etc. On T-shirts and stuff is pretty cool! Anxious to order some stuff once it gets going. Been playing this game just short of a year, and everybody knows it's addicting! If I can walk around sporting a T-shirt or hoodie with the Dogfight logo on one side and some of our Squad graphics on the other, maybe emblazoned with my in game name, and draw more attention to the game, I'm all for it!
I know camaraderie among Squads is tight, it's what really makes this game unique! What I don't get is why, every time a thread pops up about updates, merchandise, premium servers, etc. It almost always ends up in some type of off topic heated exchange. You don't want to do it, don't. You don't want to buy it, don't. But why pump all the negativity into it. If you feel the need to go off topic and start a war, create a separate thread about it. If Zup is trying to get ideas of what we want or what we expect from the game experience, no need in clouding up the issue. Give him the feedback he needs. Just my thoughts! Zup, anxious to see some stuff with our Squad graphics on it! I know everybody responsible for the artwork is willing to provide what you need! Would be cool to have a shirt with some of the graphics off my banner on it!

Thanks. Yep we know the logo, it's even used on one of the planes. Jesus is already working on one for you guys.
We have to remove the earing symbol though. It seems a Nazi symbol and it is forbidden to use under US laws. In theory we could use it because we are in Spain (and it is not a Nazi symbol) but we try to make it as international as possible and avoid trouble.

I'm trying to get a larger image for you, but the largest I have is 400x300 pxls. Its not very big.

Nice! I'd like it better though if there was some way to put a stylized L on the Lafayette like we do in the game.. (yes I know it's a British pounds-sterling symbol, but we love the L from the Edwardian Script font just as well! In fact, the entire Lafayette Escadrille name in Edwardian script would ROCK! just look at any Lafayette pilots banner and I made all of them say Lafayette Escadrille in Edwardian script)

Hey Zup, what would a vector format be? Would .pic work?

Vector format is a format that you can enlarge all you want and it doesn't look quality. It's usually done with .AI (adobe illustrator)
The other option is to have it enlarged to 2400 pixels width/height, you will see what happen to the 3 skulls... it is very very pixelated. Think that the graphic would be about 5 to 10 times bigger of what you see on here when printed on a shirt.
