i don't see why not. i'd really like to see allied squadrons flying together. if enough people are open to the idea majority can rule certain servers at certain times. of course it is all a toss up, but allies flying together is the reason we have allies.

As for the 4 v 4 is what I'll really like to get as so No gate Crashers will get into the game....
Remember only 8 players can ever play in the 1 game unless ur Zuperman...
But if u can't make a group, I'm sure we can arrange something...
If u still persist on only 3 ..I can't garrantee No gate Crashers will enter the game...
Tho if u only want 3... I'll be happy to put u in..

good idea mcfate. i've been in many attempted squad fights and they usually end up with one side or the other waiting for pilots to join. as long as one side has 3, that sounds good to me.

That's a good point.....
We'll I guess that will be ur call in the game..
When ur side is ready....just type "Ready"....
When both sides have typed ready just Type "GO" and the Game Begins....
Remember having 4 players on means u have a better chance u won't get over run at ur base or carrier...

Yes Mac... It will be allowed as there may not be enough players in that 1 squad at that time...
But please let's try and share the game time and try not to go in every game as a Sub..

Just for info folks, I will be hanging in WC for the event helping to direct traffic. Any questions about servers and such, i will try to keep it as organized as possible from the outside.

Count the hornets in I will try to be on Friday I do not know my gmt is all I know is I am in U.S. Pacific time (I just moved that's y I don't know) and also even if we can't get a single game with only two separate squads in sure it will be GREAT GAMES with some NLR there and Wp and M.O.M and so many more so if we ca t get one game full of squads then it'll still be good either way

I hope this works for you yak. Whip has mad it work a few times everyone involved has to be ready for a LONG wait trying to get everything right with the teams. I think the fasted we ever got it sorted was 10 to 15 min. And the longest was 45 min. Something else we had problems with was people not takeing it as a friendly match up. One little thing goes not quit right right and someone had to start calling foul, and bitching about how that's not fair and shouldn't count. So everyone that is involved needs to keep it light and have fun or the whole thing is going to be one big mess.

I will not be taking part yak. I would like to but all the glitches and lag have ruined the game for me.

So I've called it a "Squad War Party"...Let us Enjoy and Have Fun..
As with the Bitching..... I've tried to make the Rules simple to try and avoid that path...and make the game time run Fast and as smooth as possible...
Take a pic if u feel it's Unfair, Post it up and we'll look into it...Then If we can hold another Sw party....sweet they dont come if convicted wrongly.
I've Played Competition Squash, Laser Force, Matial Arts Tournaments... I can't remember ever having the organizers run it smoothly, but it all ends well...
IF WE CAN PULL IT OFF... IT WILL BE THE BEST GAMES EVER IN A LONG WHILE....
As for Lag....and Glitches.... Which Games have u been in without lag and glitch.. Just play what we have...

Here's what we're looking at.

The entire day would need to be dedicated to squad wars, from 0:00 Friday GMT +11 until 0:00 Saturday GMT -10. That's a span of nearly 48 hours.

Odds are, we would have players flying in four major shifts, assuming morning and night would be the optimal playing times for most. Australian and Asian players would be some of the first to go, probably late Thursday night for some of us in the US, in the wee hours of morning in Europe.

Then, the shift for European players in the morning (many M.O.M pilots, as well as a large number of Black Eagles) as well as far Eastern players at night would fly in the early American morning hours.

Then would be European Aftafternoon as Americans played their morning games (enter the Misfits).

Finally, the Americas would roll out for the night shift, along with any far Eastern players coming in on Saturday morning.

We will need to assign "traffic directors" for each shift, who will attempt to set up which squad will fight which at what time, and pick three specific players from each side.

We'll want to have no more than two squadron fights going simultaneously, to.allow for at least a couple of hundreds of unaligned players.

Squadron members will be asked not to fly in a SW server unless flying in a scheduled fight.

Gunners Inc and Wolf Pack members will be interchangeable, as will M.O.M and the Black Eagles.

Just some thoughts to help assist with the streamlining process.

Are you planning to just use the Local servers for the appropriate time zone, or all of them?

A minor piece of information that might be relevant to a few: New Zealand is first to see the sun, but our international internet connection goes east to America, so we get best speeds that way. On the Asian server it consistently complains about our connection as it has to go NZ-Hawaii-Australia-Asia.
