Panther, Jagd. Pz. 38 (t), King Tiger, And Pz 4 H and Pz 3 L's all fit my style better, not to mention the Tiger Porsche, Tiger 1 Henshaul, just more armor, and a frontal mount turret

They re-commissioned a few of the battleships and I was lucky enough to capture a photo of the Iowa crossing our wake approximately a week prior to the accident in the turret. Its rumored they could fire a projectile the size of a Volkswagen 26 miles. Not sure how true that is, but what a beautiful ship she was.

If I remember correctly the Iowa fired 16 inch shells, 16.8, maybe? ... dunno.... any chance you could post that photo btw? It sounds awesome!

Night, the Iowa classes, and I'm not American, but, The Iowa classes were america's pride, a simbol of what America could do, a simbol of unity, a ship that was massive and elegent, amazing ship...

Yes, Iowa class ships fired 16 " shells or 406mm for the metric folks there was 4 of them fast battle ships made to escort the aircraft carriers of the day the New Jersey was a Admiral Bull Halseys flagship. there were plans for two more of themthe keels were laid at the Navy Yard in PhillyI think they were going to be called the Illinois and the Indiana they were scrapped. all four are museum ships now

Robert, your favorite plane looks like a rocket.. Starfighter is a good name for it, very cool

Yep, you nailed it. As far as posting the pic of the USS Iowa I would have to find it, because its a real photograph and not a digital image. It was 1989 (1988 maybe?) when I took the picture and it is with some others depicting that Mediterranean cruise I was on. I will look for it and see if I can scan it in for ya.

Ill start looking for it. There are only a few places it could be in this house, its just a matter of getting to it. I think there are actually two pics, on crossing the wake and one from the elevator door on our port side. I would like to find those pics myself and kind of reminisce a little bit. That was a great cruise.

The real-life nicknames (the good ones) for it are "Missile with a man in it" and "Zipper" owing to its then prodigous speed.

The game is called "Strike Fighters". It's the mobile version. The PC version is more detailed and moddable.

P-40 fan here. Its funny how planes like the P-40 has a public image of being a whipping boy when it can handle other fighters for as long as it fights within its right environment.

You'll be happy with Strike Fighters if you're type who is a fan of the planes from the Cold War. In hindsight, that's why also like Strike Fighter (next to Dogfight of course) is because it makes avavilable even the less popular planes of the period. Enjoy my friend

I like the f-18 I have seen it perform a solo display at the Malta international airshow. the noise it makes gives u a gd idea about how much thrust it can produce. I love the twin rudder, beautiful plane.

any spitfire fans? they were important to the fedence of malta. also seen it fly. an icon of ww2 In my opinion. I would also include fu- corsair. I like the unique shape of the wings. I am mostly a ww2 person. what I like is the challenge of shooting down your opponent the way its done in df. watch your tail everyone lol c u

robert use several flight simulators, it makes you better at digfight without duda.otro game happens all missions is very good is (RISF of glory) or something, also has online fights but what I like is the real who are your battles is unique in that dogfight.

Oh, he plays Rise Of Glory? Cool, i've been playing that game almost as long as dogfight
