Many thanks to all who have helped me on my way. Doggy, Bts and Michael Kane along wit dapilot were in at the death. Unfortunately at the end of a game so no screenshots!
I have been trying to rationalise what I like about the game and my conclusions are
1) comradeship and teamwork even in unopposed sessions
2) I just like the aesthetics of it. I enjoy flying the planes even when there is nobody about!
3) saving up! Some of you may remember saving up your pocket money week by week to buy some special thing. Well I have enjoyed "saving up" dogfight points in much the same way. My last effort to buy a top level plane was messed up when just after I had bought the SE5 a whole new range of superior planes appeared. But I had already spent all my "cash". Hope I won't make the same mistake again
Finally some of the things I don't enjoy. I don't do world chat so any unpleasantness there I don't know about but I do object to some of the in game chat . When it gets nasty I usually just leave. I think some of the names people fly under leave a lot to be desired. Who in their right mind would want to associated with Hitler or Ebola?
Anyway that's my two pennys worth.
Thanks to all the people I have "flown" with and against over the last year.
It's been a blast
