I once sh*t my pants when I was a kid at Tiger Stadium. Think of all the greats that stepped up to the plate in that building. Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, you name it. I feel like I have a special bond with those guys.

I like the Detroit Lions too. The Red Wings are okay, I'm just not big on regular season NHL.

Aussie rules football for me and cricket. Also love watching curling when it's on, and that crazy Irish game hurling (lacross for real men).

I thought I had already posted on this thread. I know I wrote it out and pressed submit.

I'm not a big sports guy. I could care less about a bunch of grown men, playing kids games.

NFL Football, however...

The PACKERS aren't a sport.

The PACKERS are a lifestyle.

My favorite heroes are Aaron Rodgers, Clay Matthews, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Tramon Williams, Casey Hayward, Ha'sean Clinton-Dix, Sam Sheilds, Julius Peppers, Davonte Adams, Eddie Lacy, John Kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhn, Nick Perry, Josh Sitton, TJ.Lang, Bryan Bulaga, and Mason Crosby.

Calvin Johnson and Antonio Brown are also truly awestriking to watch.

Megatron is a man among boys (just ask Miami cornerback Rick Grimes). Brown is a humble, hardworking, talented young man.

My favourite sport is "Rugby Union" and I support England and the Cornish Pirates...

Football, Hockey.

Played football most of my adult life. Mostly 7v7 and 4v4 flag football but a whole lot of pickup sandlot tackle kinda games as well, and I absolutely love it. Favorite sport, period. Had I been smarter I would have pursued a career in either football or baseball out of high school. Get paid as an adult to play a game? You betcha!

Hockey is just amazing when you consider the hand eye coordination necessary to play.

I just like sports in general... playing more than watching. Tennis, volleyball, racquetball, softball, soccer, basketball, (heck even ultimate Frisbee and running) and of course football are all great games to play.

AFL is INSANE! I've never actually seen a game, but I watch highlights regularly. Mac, I think you in particular might enjoy a highlight reel of the AFL.

Another great game that nobody in the states gives a rat's ass about, unless you count those 10 Indian guys who play at Civic Center park in Madison Heights. It's always fascinated me, enough for me to learn the rules, but again I've never actually played a game or seen anything other than what's on youtube.

Way back in its infancy, circa 1980 or so, ESPN used to televise AFL games, which was my first exposure to it. Pretty darn exciting game to watch.

Pittsburgh Steelers.. Some of the players would visit my school and play softball with us in Schenley park. try to guide us down the right path .now that I'm older and know that there was much more exciting things they could have been doing. It means even more to me now than it back then. Also if you stayed out of trouble your name got put in a hat and if selected you got a ticket to the game.

think your mistaking Aussie rules for rugby league, AFL is just a game of kicks. Rugby league is your NFL on roids.

My beloved Toon Army are having a good run but football(the one you play with your feet)isnt my main passion.

Im more motor sport Enthusiast.Anything to do with sportsbikes.Motogp,wsbk,bsb all the road racing series.As a sportsbike rider myself i can really appreciate the effort involved.It takes a certain breed to be doing 180mph with shouders brushing stone walls like in IOMTT .Its a shame its over for another season.Just this last weekend event.I'm waiting up tonight to watch the Macau gp,1-2 am here in the uk.
