My grandmother is currently confined in a hospital and only the ventilator is keeping her alive. The doctors did everything they could and gave her one week left provided that she stays in the hospital.

At this point, my family is still coming to grips with the inevitable. A miracle would be great but based on the doctors' assessments, it's quite the longshot. I would like ask for prayers that her transition to the next life be peaceful and painless.

He was literally upset with me as he described this beautiful place he was in and the peace he felt. There truly is something beautiful awaiting the believer.

I regret to inform you my friends that my Grandmother passed away peacefully this morning and joined the Creator at 10:41AM, Manila time, due to a lingering illness. She was 82 yrs old at the time of her passing. The doctors gave her a week but it looks like she decided to save the family from the agony of waiting.

Hola Robert I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandma. I know she was very special to you and the family. Grandmas are always our favorites and also the pillars of the family. I know you all must be very sad, but she will forever be watching over all her love ones. As I have always told everyone that has lost a love one, try not to be sad all the time because grandma did love to see you all smile. So remember her loving words, her smile and hugs; and give her a little smile. She is at peace, like M cannon said it is a state of peace like no other, its love. One thing I learned is that it would be impossible for me to be able to somewhat heal without friends and family offering support and their prayers. Comfort each other in your family, it will help the healing. I pray that God will help you through this time of grief, he surely did help me, and I know he will help you too.

Losing anyone..especially a mother is really tough. Though mine passed in my arms in 2008, I still have flashbacks. You're soo right about having the support of others.
