Not all the earth's problems(Dogfight's) are due to over population...but if you add in greed and extreme religions(ego's and problems) then you have it all.

When man(Dogfight pilots) has totally polluted the planet(forums and game) and life(Dogfight) as we know it dies and all that is left is a gray rock(empty games and forum) with some thick semi-liquid stuff on it (that used to be called posts)...and then the cycle starts all over again...just like a seedling will pop out of the ground months after a forest has burnt it down. The earth will survive...it's just that man(The pilots) won't.

God has given us the ability to damn the world(Forum and game), and the ability to fix it. Unfortunately, most world leaders(game creators) only give lip service, if that, to fix it...it's not profitable enough for their political supporters to fix it...

Hope this makes sense in away.

Interesting take on it Beck, and yes, it makes sense in a deep sort of way. I guess right now we are somewhat dormant in a harsh winter, and hopefully as spring approaches, a revitalized DF comes out the other side...

There's hundreds of sayings you could use one of mine would be "What would happen if you didn't vacuum your carpet for a long period of time ? The dirt(Problems) would build up and you might need a new carpet(community).

I don't mean nor do I want any pilots/players or Zuperman and his team to be offended by any of this but in a way its true.. For example What if Obama never addressed any problems of the United States or never informed the people of any news either good or bad. It does a country or community good to hear from a leader that he is on top of things and trying to fix any problems. It kind gives the community a sense of relief. I'm not try to start debates about Obama or anything just comparing to Dogfight

Your so right Beck. A "community" needs to know its leader (creator) is still with you.
One point I have given alot of thought to lately is this. Remember months ago when Zupe called on the community to get behind him in his "Membership Drive". As I remember the community did, and he reached his 24 hr goal he set out to achieve. A very large group of people had a very big hand in that. Well Zupe, now our community needs you! So please, get behind "US" now.

Wow, comparing dogfight with obama. Anything thing that obama has addressed has been a disaster, DOGFIGHT IS GREAT

Any information given by obama is now being compared to extreme lies and corruption. DOGFIGHT IS GREAT.

obama is giving people the sense of DREAD. DOGFIGHT IS GREAT

Obama care is causing many folks financial problems. DOGFIGHT IS GREAT

I believe this product Echoboom " Dogfight " , yes it is a "product" made of the work of professionals and placed freely at our disposal was made to give some profit to their creators .
Perhaps this " product" has already reached its limit of maturation and now what follows is the period of decline and oblivion, unless this " product" makes profits again .
Who in their right mind would provide professional efforts to better this " product" if it fails to profit?
The question is simple , if the product goes well the investments and improvements will come , if the product goes wrong , forget and make others better.
Apparently this " product" has already made the profit he had to give.
Displeased? Go play Candy Crush or pay to Zuperman hire additional staff and improve this " product" .

I agree with you 100 percent. The game wouldn't be bad if there was actual punishment given out but its just free for all in world chat.

Suddenly this Zuperman fellow sounds a bit like God - "Please speak to us, Creator - Punish the bad - Chose your disciples to do your bidding - make this world more meaningful for me - Tell me the future - Amen."

No, it doesn't make sense.

It really is unfortunate, not only the state of the community (which is actually no worse than any of the many other internet communities I've been in), but the steep quality drop of the game. It seems that 8.1 on Nokia are finally experiencing the constant gamecrashes that have been plaguing me for months. Lost connection is out of control, as is lag.

I'm off-topic. For real now.

But I've really discovered the formula to overall contentment in this community. I used to be unhappy, always trying to be a crowd-pleaser, and always caring what everybody thought of me. Instead of becoming somebody, I was becoming nobody, losing all personality. I'm over that now. There is a two-step process to never worrying about a troll, flamer, or idiot again.

1) Find the good people, the ones you like, respect, and fit best with. For me, that's pretty much everyone in M.O.M, then everyone that SHOULD be in M.O.M (Viper10, horriblebreast, Dr Curtisshoe [Seriously, everyone loves Doc], etc.)
Have a good time with those pilots. Enjoy them, respect them, have fun with them PM THEM (seriously, pms are a HUGE part of my forum experience), and get to know them.

2) Make the rest just running jokes. I know it comes off as harsh, but what better to do with someone you just don't like on the other end of the internet? It's not like they're doing you any good just by ignoring them. Just have fun with them, without them knowing. It's their choice to have a problem with it. As a matter of fact, I HOPE I'm a running joke to some people here! I would be delighted to know I'm giving joy to people indirectly.
THE MAIN WAY TO NEVER GET TIRED OF THE IDIOTS IS THIS ONE SENTENCE
IT'S JUST THE INTERNET!

Remember, it's your choice to get offended, angry, or annoyed. I get that there are things you can't control whether or not you see. If I'm having a fun world chat convo with Boudicca, it always sucks to have a group of 13-year-olds charge into world chat, screaming about ebola. But then, I just ask them if they have the same uncles on both sides of the family, let them try to figure that out, and peace out.
You're getting predictable, guys. You can do better, right?

Dogfight is a toy, the product of echoboom, a toy manufacturer. And yes, the word product should always, always be in quotation marks. Call me an iconoclast.

When WHAM-O introduced the Frisbee, the toy buying world was enthralled. But toy consumers quickly realized that the Frisbee product never flew straight. It had been mis-engineered so that it only ever flew roughly 45-degrees to starboard and on a declining trajectory into the ground after approximately 8-10 feet. Sales plummeted like a poorly designed plastic flying disc.

Meanwhile MARX, another major toy manufacturer, introduced its own flying product, the FreeBase. MARX had had no prior knowledge that WHAM-O was going to market with the Frisbee. The FreeBase flew higher and farther and while never remotely straight gave the FreeBase consumer a unique experience for his/her toy dollar that the Frisbee product could not provide.

The rest is history.

Translation: the rest is history.

In other words, download and play World of Tanks.

Addendum: it was eventually revealed in a FOX News expose' that Barack Obama had been responsible for the failure of the Frisbee while working as an undercover Muslim toy designer. Fox "journalists" cited an unnamed Republican source named Dick. They would not confirm that the Dick wore a coonskin cap but giggled at the word "coon".

THIS JUST IN FROM ABC NEWS. While having a round table meeting they noticed that someone had a bowl of Cheerios, inside they found several DONUT SEEDS. THE ENTIRE ENTIRE MEETING CONSISTED OF THE ABC EMPLOYEES TRYING TO FIGURE OUT OUT HOW TO MAKE THE DONUT SEEDS GROW. THEY WERE NOT SUCCESSFUL.
