Any one notice how the game is latley? ?? Forum always full of someone bashing someone else?? The game full of spawn killers, cussing, or someone just playing poorly...Or wc full of the same arguing and cussing.Players morals just don't exist as they used too!! Wait what about squad wars?? Any word on those yet?? Bringing mods back any word on that?? NOPE!!! Well people told me long ago squad wars were never gonna happen ...and that's fine I guess but the mods is how this game was keeping player's in line and the game also!! No rules or guidelines to follow this is how the game will remain if not only getting worse.Ive spent alot of time playing this game but not latley..When the talk of bringing mods back turned into a argument of who and mods shouldn't be squad leaders and ect COME ON BE REAL!! We all see how the game is now its going downhill more and more.But just like every other post this will turn into a argument wasn't even gonna post it but already typed it all now so whatever!! No point here just facts of what this game has turned into!! So go back to bashing eachother, cussing ,bad game play ,what ever else you want to do!! To all the good players out there sorry I am just tired of what this game has turned into just as you are and it's time for us to voice our opinions! !

You know, after being here for over two years, I can tell you;

The game and it's forum has always been like this. There's just... a lot more people doing it now. The larger a community gets, the more bound it is to this effect.

I think the trick is to take the best from the game and help anyone who needs it......

Well said Gunzz. It truly is a crapshoot anymore what kind of crowd awaits you in WC. In game antics still exhist, and they probably always will, with so many new people showing up and fading away after they have worn out thier welcome. The forums, well they dont offer much anymore unless you like Jerry Springer re runs. Stick to your squad thread, beyond that there isnt much positive going on.
The patrols of Trolls in WC can make it unbearable at times, but all I can say is thank God for the good folks that still show up to make it worthwhile.
Ive thrown in the towel a couple of times just because you get so tired of it, but you are correct Mr Crockett! Its a great game, and it has a lot more great people involved than bad. So, we just do our best to keep that in mind, and allow the great positive influences of DF to keep it alive.
One final note.......yes, we need more mods back. It needs to happen soon, before its too late.

You guys all made great points, and there Are a lot more people playing these days, but I think there should be more moderation in Beginner's Server. This is where we could all benefit the most. School them while they're young. Right? Why can't mods fly in low level

couple mods here and there....little less hippocrits(morafs......).....and the game should be a lot more enjoyable with that alone.....

I've given up on even counting Zuperman as an entity anymore. I deal with trolls my own way now. Luna is partially right, too. These players have always existed, they're just everywhere now! There's a group of six players that just sit in world chat and make ebola jokes. I mean, really?

True sad people stupid joke!!Difference is with mods people didn't want to cross the line due to being banned now it doesn't matter cause you can't get banned!! BIG DIFFERENCE!!!Not to mention ANY names but we have a few banned player's floating around this game!! Just a big difference in how this game is without mods.But oh well I guess no need to worry about it personally. ..Still enjoy the game just not what its becoming.Any one ever hear about squad wars??

Great thread Gunnzz, what is the DF world coming to, I think it was good when u had to be lvl 8 and up to be in the big boy servers, and if it didn't update and it was still like that, Just bring back Mods!Sup those mods would set those trolls straight. It's just my recommendation cause if not I wouldn't I still be sitting here wasting my life time that I have on this game full of low-life's making "Yo mommy jokes and "Ebola jokes!!!

Thats it, there isnt any management at the inn anymore. With proper ownership of said "company", life would be so much better for us normal folk......at least as normal as we get, hehe.

There's also a lot more people to call attention to the negative side of the the community. So, what do we get?

A self-loathing, self-destructive community full of thick-headed trolls and thin-skinned pessimists.

Seriously, the amount of active, good influences in players clearly outnumber the number of bad ones. But one little bad apple comes along, and our community goes haywire like someone who needs antihistamines.

Why are ao many of us so badly affected by these things? Even after spending some money, and hours upon hours of gameplay/forum participation, Dogfight still only consists of a small fraction of my life (I love some people in the community dearly, don't get me wrong). Some people are just a bit too passionate over such trivial things. Zuperman said he is in the process of reinstating mods. We presume he is still working on the next update despite the limited resources he told us he had.

A bit of drama is inevitable, but it's up to us whether it turns to a light-hearted exchange or a flame war blown out of proportion. Watch what you say and desensitize yourself to the oh-so-terrible-text-on-a-screen-that-insult-my-honor stuff.

As for the trolls, stop feeding them. Don't even look at them. Don't even look at me, if you think I'm trolling.

Just... be better for the sake of Dogfight.
