"Encourage pilots to sneak"

I can remember when I started playing this game about two years ago that there wasn't much complaining about sneakers, bomb droppers, campers, or Spawn Killing. It was just apart of this War Game. It seem to me that we had a lot more Honorable and respective players then (this is my opinion)that played to win and when a matter arose such as camping, they took care of it. I still have no complaints about any of the above, I guest the only complaint I have is LAG, LAG, LAG, I hate it, Lag kills me more than any of the above. Aw the good times

Back when I was a noob, I'd often go high and outside to access the enemy carrier. It was a long, boring ride, but quite interesting to drop in on the enemy carrier and try to bomb it without getting taken out. The only complaints you'd hear were about teammates who failed to watch out for flankers.

I remember mbizzi often saying, "Anyone seen Manfred? He's going around again." And I would reply something like, "Cough cough... hard to breathe... up... here." It got laughs, instead of whines.

But that was over three years ago, when getting killed was a badge of honor, and clearly part of learning. Since then, the culture has become more focused on points, kills, and players' own versions of fair play. The game has turned from a scrappy game of Capture The Flag Somehow Someway, to No Flanking Without A Verbal Spanking.

It is a lot less fun now.

EDIT: In fact, I'm going to log in right now, find a Bomb Carrier or Bomb Hangars game, and GO WIDE. If any reds are reading this, you'll find me near your base

Sneaking was never an issue with me when the games are even. I do.it when i can who dont that would be stupid not to. Thats only common sense. But like i said and have so many others. When you have a 6-1 superiority why sneak. So one or two guys are holding you back. If you read my post about three get a win. They never left the radar. They used their brains. And used the advantage of numbers. Three guys realised the game chat wasnt for chatting but for game play.

Yeah I just tried to get in some BTB and BTC games. Each one was highly advantaged to the blues, so I didn't mess with flanking. Stupid servers. This has been a problem for... three years!

I hate you guys. When i was a new pilot in the forum and I sneak, I said many things what you are saying and argued now but some of you told me " coward"

I suppose my english don't help me

Btw, if some one sneak vs outnumbered team, it's the best way to win whitout unnecessary kills, just saying

This game would be much better with fuel limits. It would severely hamper those pesky sneakers!

Or with only small map that you cant fly to another direction!! And only 500 ft altitude? That will be so great for arcade players and pacman fans

I don't really like it but sneaking doesn't really bother me. Unless I'm outnumbered...then I find it classless. But it also means you're too good and the opposition is avoiding you. Personally I have tried it on occasion and find I just don't have the patience to do it; it does take a long time to get that high and fly over or taking the long way around left or right.
I do find that the debate on this topic is getting old, it's part of the game...and it's not going away...Most of us have been playing long enough to know that if you're dealing with one that it's only going to happen once or twice. Then you go hunting. After all that wasted time being evasive and getting shot down in the end anyways a lot of them leave the game. Pay attention to your opposition and combat it accordingly instead of complaining.

Or play zep games and ctc like I do....more points anyways...nobody sneaks in them either

Sneaking is a low down, filthy, cheating, dishonorable refuge of cowards that can only play dirty pool. Unless I'm doing it, then it's solid tactics.

I sneak, but only in zeppelin games.

One thing it's true, take off and die, take off and die so many times, it's not a tactic.
