I think you've got it right.

Many players don't like "campers" . The trouble is defining what "camping" is. Many players who say they don't like campers seem to think that "camping" also means "spawnkilling". It doesn't. They are two different things.


Most people seem to agree that "spawnkilling" is killing planes before they can take off. Some extend that for several seconds after take-off too. I think that spawnkilling rarely has valid strategic benefits and is usually an exploitation of an advantage that does not reflect relative skill between the players. There are times when it can help, such as when a blue bomber is on final approach or possibly at the very end of a zeppelin game. Usually it just seems like cheap kills and it is perfectly reasonable for someone to complain about it and ask you to stop. Because there are no rules against it the conversations can quickly get obsurd.


Most people seem to consider "camping" to be flying around and over the enemy base without a bomb and killing reds before they can engage other blues. Some extend "camping" to anyone who has already bombed but remains engaged in the fight rather than disengaging and returning to reload. It could also be done by a "dropper" (someone who does not carry a bomb at all.) Camping can be strategically valid. Circling over the enemy base just for the sake of racking up kills can be selfish stat-padding but distracting defenders and covering for incoming bombers can be very helpful to your team. In my opinion, when people complain about strategic camping they are just trying to limit the possibilities of the game. (I feel the same about "dropping" too.)


So, what can you do?

Fly as you see fit. I hope you don't try to take advantage of reds just to improve your stats, but honestly if that's your goal there are no rules against it. In that case you should expect to be subjected to complaints and accusations of not being a very "honorable" player. If you choose to fly in ways that further your team's chances of winning you may still get complaints, but other people's happiness is not your responsibility and if you are not being abusive, I don't think you should waste your time worrying about it.

Si hay gente entrando yo suelo ayudarles si son pocos regreso si no hay compañeros o me alejo y espero a que lleguen si tengo municion.tu se ires justo no haces nada malo y juegas limpio, no te preocupes de lo que otros digan, te diran campista, gotero incluso insultos o mata barato, cuando no es cierto no mato barato no hago spaw a menos que sea una situacion de final dembombardeo y cubro a los que entran haciendolo para ganar la mision nada mas.yo me pongo muchas veces en la montaña y aun asi me critican entiendes.que hacer?pues lo que creas que es correcto y olvidarte de lo que te digan eso es lo que tienes que hacer amigo.
