Actually the reason for this thread is i was just curious what is everyones favorite movies? My favorite movies are definitely the Lord Of The Rings. All three movies. And the hobbit movies too. Then after those movies my fave would be The Rock. (No, not Dwayne Johnson, the movie about Alcatraz with Sean Connery, Ed Harris, and Nicholas Cage).

Have you seen Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings? Not those crummy Rankin/Bass productions. I always liked it a bit more than Pete Jackson's.


My favorite movie right now is The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. The score is excellent as well.

Ah yes. 300. I had quite forgotten that movie. It is also a favorite. In fact i used to be Leonidas in reference to it. Very good movie.

I have seen Willy Wonka (the one with johnny depp is just stupid) and liked it. However king kong and wizard of oz are on my need to see list. I think i even have king kong but havent seen it lol.

Lol it it's an organized mess, mostly by category. Bottom two shelfs child friendly.(but no ninja turtles)

When I say KingKong, I mean the 1933 version. It's old and hackie, but a true classic. I am with Cricket, on the Private Parts movie. Porkys is also a great funny movie.

Some of these have been mentioned already but here are a few that no matter how many times I've seen them, if they come on tv, I'll watch em every time...getting older helps because you forget stuff and they seem new...

Sure i was probably 13 or 14 at the time. But this is still one of the funniest movies ever.

Not really a movie, but i personally think u just cant beat the old star trek tv show (unless its a john wayne movie). Ya i know it might be a little nerdy. But star trek is awesome.
