I've been doing this too but I just realized that we use a lot off abbreviations in this game. For Example: Gtg, Brb, Lmao, etc. I just feel like bringing this up, so basically this thread is useless...

If you have time to type an essay while flying then you're quite talented....myself I tend to get shot down....

I was just talking to the wife about this, our oldest is 12 and just entered middle school, and she has NO CLUE how to write in cursive! Quite a shame really, guess we will have to teach her

I actually NEVER employ the use of abbreviations in in-game or world chat. Or texting. Or PMS. The entire concept annoys me beyond belief. Although I can understand in-game. If you aren't a fast enough typist, that could create a lot of problems.

I would rather have someone type "Sry" for example when they accidentally shoot me down than nothing at all.
And I think it would tick me off even more if someone typed "Dreadfully sorry old chap for that shooting mishap."

I learned basics in 1st and 2nd grade but after that we wrote Merican' ill cut to the chase! I cant read cursive
