Does anybody else think that the accuracy of the parachutist gun is dis-portionate to the rest of the game. It is hard enough to shoot a plane down from another plane but it seems absurdly easy to hit a plane whilst hanging from a chute and hitting the chutist while trying to avoid his shots is very difficult. Not sure what could be done about it but it ain't very realistic.
May the ancestors look down upon your achievements and smile.

Imagine for me pagan brother, you're trying to shoot from a car that is wildly veering left and right, slowing and then speeding. Try to imagine how hard it is to hit a target from that position, getting flung around like that. Now imagine you are standing still on the ground. You're target is on an elevator, going up. That's why it's easier to shoot from the chute, because you're moving in one direction: down. In the planes, both you and your target are moving erratically, which of course makes it HARD to hit your target. But in the chute, even if your target is flying wildly, you are not. You are steadily falling down, so you're aiming platform is much easier to control. So that's my little explanation for ya! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: See you in the skies!

Though your also using a bolt action rife and firing it very fast while hanging from parachute straps and the wind pulling you about. Your using both hands to fire that rife as well yet your still able to spin in any direction you want with the skill a ninja would envy B) . Even flipping upside down so you can shoot strait up and not hit your chute. In a plane your only pulling the trigger and pointing the nose at them.

I agree with you both it's hard to hit a human sized target from a plane, but also hard to hit a plane moving over 100 mph with a bolt action rifle from a chute.

The funny part is that fighter pilots in WWI didn't use parachutes!! Only the spotters in the balloons were authorized to use 'chutes lol!

Well, it was a very rare occasion for a pilot to have one (very rare). Most of the time they didn't work anyway... As far as carrying rifles? yeah... no lol. They had pistols, maybe, but because the likelihood of surviving getting shot down was slim, they didn't really find it too necessary... But, we're crossing into "accuracy vs. game-play" territory here. Where do we draw the line? WWI was a big long drawn out stalemate, and flying recon missions and ballon busting isn't exactly the most thrilling game-play. I'd rather have the chance to get revenge from my chute! :woohoo:

The moment we start getting all technical and realistic on this game is the moment all logic and mechanics behind it starts crashing down. The Doctor explained it pretty well from the game's standpoint.

I was not saying there should be no, or worse chutes, or the like. Only that a chute is not a stable platform :). I'm pro fun and fair rather then super realistic game in a multiplayer. The Doctor by default is right because if he can fly a TARDIS who am I to disagree
