Sad sad day. One of my child hood HERO's!



"Robin Williams passed away this morning," his rep confirmed to E! News. "He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."

Very sad in deed, huge talent. Depression is so bad, I have recently experienced a bit and it's tough...

Yes sad day when a 63 year old kills him self because of depression. He actually was at one of his houses by San Francisco area in California. Just makes you realize that if you have problems talk to someone and don't hold it in!!. Just watched Patch Adams the other day and was surprised to see this today!

I can say I've had Depression myself...
It Hits u and u don't even know it...
It's like one day ur feeling normal... then u just want to leave this world and
everything behind... Maybe cos we bottle everything up and think it's normal.
Guess I was a lucky one..... The so called sharp Stanley Knife was blunt... after a few cuts it just grazed my skin and hurt....
But the main thing was my Family's support that they stood by to help me recover..
I don't ever want to walk down that path again...nor do i like seeing anyone do the same...

I'm going to be honest. I never particularly cared for Robin Williams' content. But we're beyond the point of that mattering even in the slightest. This is still a man who would rather take his own life than accept the daily existence of life. Someone who, although he seemed successful in every endeavor, still was missing something deep inside, and he could take it no longer.

Regardless of who he is, this is still the absolutely tragic loss of a human life. RIP in peace Robin Williams.

He was one of my few brushes with greatness...

Growing up in California I lived across from a yoga instructor during the Mork and Mindy years (that was a strange sentence). Robin took classes from him and one day the instructor's son called over all of the kids to see him (unbeknownst to his father or Robin). After annoying him by spying through the windows he came out and (as nice as can be) asked where we lived and if we promised to go play somewhere else he would come by and say hello.

Sure enough a little while later Robin Williams was outside my door. Even as a teenager I could tell how uncomfortable and shy he was in that setting but never forgot how he went out of his way for all of us.

As a hockey fan I've always liked the plus/minus statistic. I've always said that when I die I want to have been a "plus" player for my life. Robin had his minus days but was the Larry Robinson of the plus/minus statistic for his lifetime. I hope he's found his peace.

Sad loved Robin Williams. Alcohol Drug addiction and depression are hard hills to overcome. Rip

So sad that someone's life can come to this..I understand how hard it can sometimes be when u feel there is nowhere to go I grew up surrounded by suicide it's so sad..the fact he enriched others life's makes it worse..rip dear man..

When I found out he died I was shocked cuz u wouldn't think he would die R.I.P Mr. Williams
