BANNER TEACHERS NEEDED

I would really like to learn to make banners and maybe have a studio or something like that, I really want to learn to make smooth banners without having certain pictures pop out and out of place. I would also like to be able to use gifs and make other art like Squadron logos, banners, etc.. Please consider that this may take a while to teach me all the ropes so If you have the time please let me know.

Making banners falls into the category of digital art, which is a very broad field but quite easy to get into if you invest some time into it. With some patience and persistence, you should be able to improve your skills significantly. I recommend starting off with some open-source software that you don't have to spend a fortune on (looking at you, Photoshop). GIMP is a good alternative to start with.

It's completely free, and a very nice image manipulation program. There's a learning curve, however, but there's no shortage of tutorials and walkthroughs (even on the website itself) that would be very useful for even the newest of digital artists.

Of course, you could always resort to using more simpler image programs such as the browser-based Pixlr (pixlr.com/), or even some quick and easy apps you can get on your smartphone like PicsArt (picsart.com/)

Try all of these out if you'd like. I've found them a big help when it comes to image creation/editing. And remember, the Internet is a valuable resource. If you don't know how to do something, odds are there's some kind of walkthrough or tutorial out there that can help you!

I am going to make a video of making Gunnerzz Banner and that should show a whole lot more insight into GIF making but really as Luna said mostly it's your imagination that makes the banner great photoshop just makes it shine just that little bit brighter
