I find it VERY hard to keep and run a good squadron, no one wants to join, no one wants to stay..

Keep at it Eagle! I know you want to have a good squad. You can, it takes time and patience. And it is very true, find good pilots and fly with them, get to know them and them know you. Let them see what your trying to achieve. These days everyone just wants to grab pilots as they walk in the door. Join join join........most cases I'd say that never works out for the long haul.

All my good friends have joined bigger squads. Its hard for these smaller squadrons to survive with M.O.M and 121st and 111th. I think Zup should make a cut off on members so we can survive

Dont be too quick to write off smaller squads. Though what you say seems to make sense, and alot of pilots do go running for the biggies when they can. But, I firmly believe that a small squad of active, quality pilots can give any one of them a challenge any time. Yep, its difficult to put together, but if its what you want, make it happen. Dont give up just yet buddy!

Yes, if you can stack the noobs, it can work. Just be sure to get to know them and make sure they may hang around. I believe many noobs try these games out, and move on.

It takes a while to see where you fit in:

I did G.I., New Lunar Republic (which is dead, but still in the top 5?!) and Misfits before I noticed that Lafayette Escadrille was the right Squadron for me.

So I would say, keep the 100.000 coins, because it is very hard to make a squad that is completely different (want rules, go to MOM, want more rules, go to Misfits, want a young squad (ppl and founding) go to G.I., wanna fly around and don't give a ...., go to Lafayette Escadrille).
So it is very hard to invent a squad-type that is not yet around.

You might want to check out the first several pages of the "successful" squads threads.

Rules ,We have Rules. When did this happen? Nobody tells me anything. Rule 1 there are no rules.
