I have played many combat and flight combat games. ALL of which include strategy and teamwork. If either of these are attempted in DF were sneaks and campers! Yesterday i flew SLIGHTLY to the left in bomb the base, not much, but i didnt just go down the middle as everybody else and was called a SNEAK!!!! if you raise your altitude....SNEAK, if you try to fight off enemies to ensure your teammates get in w their bombs.....CAMPER!!!

I'm SICK of it!!! So all were supposed do is follow everybody else and fly in a straight line at one altitude every time in every game???? Really???

Do you guys realize in other flight combat games squads communicate, stay together, find the path less traveled to accomplish a mission sometimes high sometimes low, sometimes to one side of the map or another.... this is how flight combats games are supposed to be, but for some reason the DF community has decided to take strategy and teamwork out and to only allow flying from a to b in a straight line without any variances or were all a bunch of cheaters?

Just venting....but its getting old fast!

Welcome to the world of whinning and complaining my friend joe!! Play your game joe as long as your not breaking rules play how you wish...sadly someones always gonna complain no matter what! But keep your chin up and play YOUR game not how others want you too!!

If I use those terms in game, more than likely I'm accused as whining. In reality I'm communicating with my team to make them aware of the incoming or posing threat.

So ask if it's accusatory or communication? I don't bother explaining it in game anymore as I have grown tired of the other side taking offense to making my team aware.

Some do get pissy over the issues and others just say those things to throw you off game.

I too do not sneak, anybody who has flown with me feel free to post if you have ever once seen me sneak, but i'm starting to wonder more and more why not? The maps are all small, no deep terrain to hide in, and I only dont in DF because it is frowned upon..... Just got me to thinking why is that? It should be encouraged and rewarded with good jobs but instead people are condemned when the dont play follow the leader right down the middle..... kinda makes you think doesnt it?

But that is my point! The use of the word "sneak" is the issue here!
How in the Hell can anyone sneak in DF?? Its called FLYING!!!

Now as to people Sneaking,Dropping and whatever else people wanna say I have Old News for you!! Japan did not fly in the radar's view when they bombed Pearl harbor! They sneaked in bombed dropped camped whatever you wanna call it!! And as of that it was a war! Is this game not a war game? War = Do what you have to do to WIN!! Yes droppers campers sneaks make it hard so what! CANT HANDLE THE HEAT STAY OUT THE KITCHEN!

I decided to give it a try and instead of flying in a straight line i turned to fly towards the edge of the map and took the long way around to the back of what i was bombing (at very low altitude) and It worked out great! It was much more fun than the regular up the middle follow the leader usual. So I think this is going to become a pattern from me, if you've flown with me you know i can handle my own up the middle, but its starting to bore me so if you see me in game dont wonder "where is he going" because i am going the same place as you, i'm just taking the long way!


In bomb the carrier, i went around and came up from behind and by the time i emerged from over the hill the carrier was right there and they never saw it coming, I got 2 bombs off both times with little fight only having to take down a cpl that spawned upon my approach and wanted to try there luck!

In bomb the base on my first run I came up behind and 2 or 3 reds noticed and flew the oppisite way from our base to see what that blue dot was doing back there.... I had to drop one bomb to take on 3 by myself, once my impending death was immanent I had to drop the other, but wound up taking down all 3 reds, they respawned and came back for more as i was coming in from the other side of their base, i got right into the hangers (bombless) but point is it worked and even without a bomb as i reached the hanger, two blues were at their doorstep, and the reds were chasing me instead!! On my next run i had reached the back of their base again (this time w both bombs) and they flew away from me, towards my base (probably thinking i had no bomb again) and they were wrong, but unfortunately my power went out and reset my modem before i could drop

But this added a different element to the game both times i played, and i just had more fun doing it, even the time i had to drop to stay alive was worth it because it had a few outstanding pilots looking and flying the other way from our base to find me, allowing my team to get closer and not have to defend reds trying to get to our base because they were busy going the opposite way chasing me (and dieing).

So if your ever on my 6 and see me going some odd way feel free to join me for a change of pace, or do your thing up the middle and just know i'll be trying to keep em off ya and get one in from the rear! lol, but either way i'm done w this follow the leader point a to b do the same thing everytime nonsence.

guys sneaking can be done but mostly the teams should be equal . if enemies are outstrenghted and they attack to ur base and u emerge fromnowherethey feel angry .

yes I forgot about that but you got my point lol. I'm old but not old to know all of that Rap lol. I stand corrected but the point is still good lol. Just remember folks if you see a red dots on your radar then its an enemy or maybe that dang UFO is back in which you never see them lol

When playing Just think what would Jesus do? That tells ya what to do cause he would win of course So DROP,SNEAK,Slaughter up the middle to take the win make those reds work for it if they want to win!! If it wasn't a challenge then it wasn't fun!!

When I began playing this game there we're no separate servers and you began this game by trial under fire in lower tier aircraft. Sopwith on the allied/flying brick and so forth. I became great at sneaking as flying against the MORAFs up the middle was futile. I played that way until I could afford better planes.

People hated me for it, but it was effective and allowed me to earn the coin to upgrade. So sneaking doesn't bother me, camping when no others are coming in does. Oh well what can you do, complain or just play? I choose to play, play your game and ignore the bs, it's just going to distract you.

i bet Japan got a big surprise when they 'woke up the sleeping beast'(thats literally what they called it).......lol..........u know we only started out the war with a handful of carriers....but we ended the war with over a hundred carriers?

just had a nice evenly matched game and after a few runs up the middle, i once again went the long way (flying low again as not to avoid radar) around to the back of the base and as soon as i bombed the hanger a member of a top squad in the game (M.O.M) calls me a sneak and a newb! REALLY??? Just because i didnt fly up the middle like you wanted you resort to calling me names??? I didnt expect that out of a squad i have nothing but the utmost respect for

Indeed, flying up the middle while others shoot at me with their pcs and big screens, is getting extemely redundant.
However, I do not condone sneaking on a vastly outnumbered enemy, as it is not very gracious. Aside from that, the mission must come first, regardless of anyones "feelings", or hallow code of honour. All enemies MUST be crushed beneath me....completing the mission at all costs, is all that matters in the end. If we can look at ourselves in the mirror at the end of the day with our heads held high, then the battle was a sucess, as far as I'm concerned. I encourage and respect sound battle tactics. And the last time I checked, that does not invovle informing the enemy of your tactics and strategies. EVADE and STRIKE! Keep up the good work, men! (and ladies)
