Hi DEATH, there are plenty good squadrons, I think misfits and moms are the best.

The forum is just going through a phase right now, everything should calm down. There will always be some arguing, after all we are humans (well some of us are, I do believe there are aliens from another galaxy among us so be careful).

The forum is a fun place, just stay away from the arguments and you will be fine.

Don't worry, lots of good squads, some people just like to argue. Join a squad you like or with players you respect.

hi death, you are correct dogfight is full of drama and arguments, who said the thing about spinning? If it was me i meant that it helps but also you can do frontal attacks and kill them before they can kill you, my squadron is based on being kind and respecting one another and having fun playing df, tell me if you see anyone from my squadron acting badly and i will put a stop to it, yes there is arguing, just ignore it, there just being complainers and when you see the arguing on world chat just go out for a flight and kill them reds!!! No one can make you join a squadron pick your own and in your own time, if i had to pick the best squadron it would either be M.O.M,121st Misfits,Dogfight Clan, Or Gunnerz inc. those are some very nice squadrons filled with good people, so just go out and play a good round of df!!!

Hello Mr Desth Sir! I am very sorry that you feel the way you do. Yes, as many have stated, there is never any shortage to the drama at times around here. But, many of us are confident that things should settle down soon......we hope. As for arguing? Yes, there are those that go for that sort of thing, but there are many like myself who do not. I shall keep an eye out for you in WC, and im sure we can have some wonderful conversation, that im sure others will join.

Sir Death, my apologies if you saw me arguing, it is not my nature. Try to watch the players in game, remember which ones you enjoy flying with. That's going to be who you want to join. Players who fly like you do.

Yes we are human, but why do we not be able to act diferent wen we are with others on computers and phones, insted of acting like important? Becase it nice but no imoortant to figt over.
You say "phase". I looked way back and back very far all the way to long ago, and I see lots and lots of "phase". Everybody always say sorry, but then phase again. I use spellchecker now, so maybe understand more.
I am not wanting to be with lots of phases. This us a game, but not to fight and be angry in real life right?
If I pick a squad, not being misfits or mom or dragons. Maybe gjnners inc. I like Batman and desichick and horiblebeast, but nixkillin was mean today and gunnerz (very important gi) argues with misfits. And warbird, yellowblaze talk too much, acts stupid. Look at his posting.

i try to always treat others the way they want to be treated, i will never cuss or be mean to someone on purpose yes death this is a game made for fun and enjoyment we should do less talking and more flying thats what it was made for and thats what we should do we cannot change the complainers and the mean pilots' thoughts, we just have to learn to ignore them and play dogfight

Death, I will try to explain this arguing and joining a squad.

Arguing
Every one argues over little things. At first it starts between two pilots over something that happened in game or posted here on the forum. After one or two post more and more pilots join in making things worse. Pretty soon it's squad vs squad in this quarrel. Things always seems to escalate pretty fast. But alot of the same topics continue to keep the fire burning. Such as spawn killing, tank spawn killing, camping and dropping. Those arguments never die out.

Some arguments can get very personal. Either because they don't like how you fly, your name, that you passed them in the ranks, being better then them, or not as good as them or because you didn't join their squad. Petty stuff I know. But some one some where in this dogfight community has to start drama and arguments, just because they have nothing better to do. (Not directed towards any one. Just and observation)

Joining a Squad

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Get to know other pilots, all pilots from all squads. Read their threads. Not one or two, read alot of them. Get to know all squads and pilots. You can be in a squad and have friends in other squads. Never jump in to a squad right off, just be yourself and choose for your self. Don't let others choose for you. If some one tells you to join their squad or a different squad, read their post. Fly with them. Always ask questions, and don't be scared to ask them any thing. If one person don't know, they can and most often do refer you to some one who can and will help. Its up to you to decide who you would like to join. Never i mean never let any one decide what squad you should join.

There are many fine squads out there. But there are differences in how each squad is ran. Some with an iron fist, some with the structure of the military, some with a laid back style and some with no structure at all. Ultimately it's you choice like I said earlier. Don't be bullied in to joining any squad you don't want to join. Just have fun, if your not ready for a squad then don't join any of them. Just my thoughts.

DeathbyDestiny, I'm terribly sorry you've had such a negative first impression of the Dogfight community. We strive to behave like little ladies and gentlemen but, unfortunately, we sometimes seem to all have been born and raised in Park Slope. There are those who might say the forum is going to the dogs. Personally I'm inclined to think it's just moved to Staten Island.

U like this game then u should play the game. Do not care about squadrons or argument talk only to those whom u feel like. And mate if they r busy arguing then u have a good oppurtunity to kill them. And u would some day get a call from any squadron officer to join that squad like i was recruited into misfit. And u know what if u ask me people r so so good in here that u wount get in real life.

DeathbyDestiny there are lots of good squadrons that don't join in on the drama & arguing that you have seen.. 2 of them are Spanish speaking squadrons - Ala 21 (12) & Black Eagles.. plus there are many others also.

I suggest that you read the 1st post on the 1st page of each squadron here on the forum to get a little better understanding about what they're about and a better feel for which ones you might 'fit in' with.

Most importantly remember.. this is only a game.. so have FUN!

Wow my friend I'm sorry to hear you say "I like to argue with the Misfits"But just for the record I don't like to argue with the Misfits actually I have several friends in that squad.And that has nothing to do with G.I what so ever I left my squad out of it 100%.But I am guilty of standing for my beliefs and always will! But I do wish you the best of luck finding a squad that works for you and G.I has worked for all those in it!! But I do wish you the best and your more than welcome at G.I!!
