Why do people insist on throwing the poo? I would really like to know. I can understand letting someone know your opinion, or if you have been done wrong, but why not speak your peice and let it be. There has been many time I feel I have been wronged in this game and a few time I have gone off, but to continue to drag It out doesn't do any good. It really really hurts the game when to people have a problem their whole squad feels the need to goin in the poo flinging ( yes I know I'm guilty of it to) . Well my piece has been said so this is the last you will hear from me.

Yep Jason, there is a big difference between "I disagree with your view, and mine is that..." versus "You need to stop thinking that way because you are wrong. The right way is..." Reading the forum recently, one can easily conclude that the difference has been lost on many.

The Poo is in a air. Duck!

Well said, we all need to stand back at reflect on our actions are realise that more often than not, we're all on the same side, we all share (or have shared) the love for Zup's creation.

With all the real drama's in life and in our own lives we need to do our best to keep this the place it once was..... A fun place.

Amen.

That is my new plan. While I know that I will not always be able to keep my temper in the face of perceived injustice, I will try to remind myself that I am asking others do the same. Btw, short of teamkilling and relentless spawnkilling I think it is perfectly fine to be vengeful and to use all strategies to destroy the enemy, especially if they have been using "underhanded" tactics.

The problem only seems to come when I/they take it personally. It's like in baseball, when a pitcher accidentally hits a batter. Usually when it happens, the batter will shake it off and step back in for the next pitch. Sometimes the pitcher will nod an apology and the game goes on. Other times the dugouts will empty and there is a brawl as everyone forgets that it's just a game and that accidents happen. When there are hot heads on either team the chances for a brawl are much higher. They can turn a good day into a bad one for everyone on both teams.

I choose not to play on such a team. I'd rather play the game and if a pitcher tries to push me back by throwing high and inside I'll dust myself off and be ready for the next pitch. If I connect it might be a line drive but I don't want to turn the game into insults and black eyes.

FWIW.
