I'm going to say this plain and simple: post less.

If you're going to post in English, get an idea of how the structure of the language works first, so you stop confusing people.

When i started, i posted CONSTANTLY. Hell, even now, I've got 700 posts in 4 & 1/2 months. I've been chided for excessive posting on multiple occasions. But now, besides the occasional regrettable foray outside of my own business, I've learned to tone it down. I still post a lot, but the vast majority of my posts are purely conversational. I'm not obnoxious anymore.

You've posted 200 times this week. I've never seen anything like that. Not even PR Ace posted that much.

Not to be harsh, but tone it down. You REALLY don't have that much to say. Not that is important, anyway. Don't be as bad as I was, times ten. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would agree.

When someone starts posting loads of BS on the forum and upsets a significant portion of the community, we are going to speak up. Blaze, Mac here is only saying what we are all thinking. Get smart or get out. Not to be harsh.

I like you don't have English as first language. I don't know about you but English isn't my spoken language and I can understand if people write r instead of are in the chat, but if they are in such a hurry that they don't have the time to spell out the words in a forum post. Have the decency to do it when you do have the time.
As you I too have problems with spelling, but I try my best, and I appreciate when people sends me a pm telling me that I use wrong word or spelled wrong.(as long as they do it to help and explain what and why)
I'd probably still would write bin instead of been if it wasn't pointed out to me.

Don't feel bad about the English, Blaze. I've grown up speaking it, reading it, and writing it and they still feel like I need English classes in college! Apparently they still need to edgimicate me on some things about it

But as far as the posts go, it would be great if you laid off a bit. I've gotten to the point where I see that you started a post and I won't even bother reading it. Think about it like the story of the boy who cried wolf. If you post a bunch of meaningless stuff, nobody is going to listen when you actually have something good to say. Take it or leave it, but its just something you might want to seriously consider...

Before you speak ask yourself three things: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind?

I enjoy Blaze's enthusiasm, and I like his ideas. However, ideas are one thing; execution is another. I recommend that Blaze stick with the News/Journalism idea... maybe a regular weekly or biweekly addition. And, that he expand on each topic within that news addition. His/her enthusiasm shouldn't be suppressed.

As far as the structure/grammar/mechanics are concerned... well, it is a game forum. So, the genre is wide open to all kinds. As a college level composition teacher, I have to say practice makes perfect better. But I will always advocate that any writer read what they have written to make sure they mean what they say, that it can be understood by the reader, and that the tone of the writing is responsible and effective. For example, apologizing for harshness after purposely being harsh isn't a very effective style as we have seen in Blaze's defensive reaction.

Mac is having the same conversation with you that once was had with him. He caught on, and now is accepted and a member of one of the best squads here. You ask who he is to tell you. He is a guy who once had a similar problem, and completely turned it around and cleaned his image up. What he is saying to you, I believe, is an act of kindness. There are a lot of diverse people here, and the vast majority of them want to accept you. Do what you want I guess, but he is giving you good advice.

Blaze, what theyre telling isnt to be mean or bully u. I do respect the fact the as humans we have the right to express and talk about damn near anything. But they do have a point......id sujest instead of making many different threads why dont u just make ur own thread "how blaze feels" idk id still be better than 50 different threads....just saying

DFNews? I think you can come up with a better title, Blaze. How 'bout The News Blaze, The Yellow Reader, The Yellow Blaze Journal, The Blazing Globe, or The Righteous Reader. You could have a section called "What Would Blaze Do." You could also recruit other reporters and call 'em Trailblazers. Think of the possibilities! Think really long about the possibilities. Its just nice to see someone being a leader not a follower! or in other words you "take the path less traveled" which is a good thing!

DF stands for dog fight, we report news on things that happen in the DF forum and in the DF game
and yes I'm looking for Journalists and a Co Anchorman/woman, so we could report it on my topic DFNews to grab the attention of people so they go there to see what was reported and what not, like advertising for the Jolly Roger, or MOM or who ever else wants the WHOLE of the forum to see whats going on with them.
Which in a sense, makes them more popular in the forum.
But any thing that may cause "Distasteful grief" in the forum, is not reported unless its with DF Celebs, so to say. Im not going to advertise my own popularity, but advertise someone else's, becoming popular in my own respect is the last thing on my mind, what is on my mind is keeping people in tune with the whole of the forum.

I agree with Mr. Becken, we should habe the right to say how we feel. And like I mentioned earlier there are ppl who are just plain jerks and wanna try to control what u can and cannot do. I also have a hard time bitting my toung and not telling people to ' f off'. But I personally believe some ppl really should hear the cold hard facts of what theyre doing. But when it comes to vets vs noobs u can guess whos gonna be favored? My point is till u been here 6 months to a year most everyone is gonna look down on u. And if they see u trying to raise theyre gonna try to knock u down. Thats just part of the forum. Alot of ppl r that way. Some have their heads so far up u gotta shove a spot light down the other hole for them to see the light. But yeah just ignore the trolls and realize who ur true freinds r and dont worry about if ur not friends with those who u look up to but troll on u....theyre the ones with the loss, not u. I say rant all u want. If it makes u happy and aslong as ur not LIGETIMNTLY trolling or insulting other than I dont see why anyone should give a rats ass what u post. This is OUR (all of our forum) and if anyone dont like that...hmmm well

You should EARN respect here, not take it. Learn the system before trying to change it. I'm technically a Noob here. But guess what? People like me, and respect me, I believe. You know why? I put my head down, played my heart out, apologized when people told me I was out of line, and wasn't afraid to change my mind. And i don't feel like any less of a man because of it.

If anything, learning humility and deference is GOOD for someone.

We do have the freedom of speech, it just depends on how people use this power, some use it to cyber bully, some just to be annoying,be smart, be the one who is nice to even the enemy, ignore those who put you down, and treat fellow pilots the way you would want to be treated, respect elder players, and have fun because this is a game and thats what it was made for

if anything you are worse.. you are a grey line pilot which means you skim above the lines of punishment! you always abbreviate cuss words and you just rude.. How do you think Yellow feels ? pretty bad i would imagine its people like you that make this game bad and why do you care how much he posts your nose is in every thread as well and when you said "You act like you're some kind of jesus" that's pretty much you dude! and don't even start with people not showing respect because you are far from it!

Thats where ur wrong I think. I belive respect should be given to everyone no matter what until they have done something that would cause them to lose respect. U have done nothing but insult Blaze when all hes doing is expressing his Human Right. Hes doing nothing wrong but expressing himself. He has not insulted u or anyone else and in everyone of ur post ur insulting him one way or another. So answer me this Mr. RESPECT, who should I really respect in this aspect u or him?
