Good luck bro, I'm sure you'll be able to recover. Hope you get to come back in the DF. Come to think of it, in all the times that you were a part of TFL, I didn't the chance to fly with you.

Having suffered the same I know that words of encouragement are of no help in times like these, but you'll come out the other end okay. I promise.
Focus on the kids, they do need you and they need you whole, knowing that has pulled me back from the ledge enough times. I might suggest though, at night when they are in bed play some DF - not the forum but the game, and let it occupy your mind for a while, it helps, and ignore crap like KDR and winning - it's irrelevant.
Best of luck Rat, and you're not really alone, there are plenty of good people here to lean on - I'm one of them.

We all must feel honoured that you share the reason for leaving the game for a while.

First I would like to say that I, like no doubt most of us, can feel lucky that we do not know how you must feel.
But not having a clue what to say to 'chear you up' should not be an excuse to say nothing.
I wish you all the best, and hope you can rearange your life in a way that is managable for you, so you have time for the good things in your life. (.....and being murdalized by monkeys in D VIII's that feel they are aces might not be one of them. LOL)

Take good care of yourself, in a sensible way.
Concentrate on those that love you!
Get a dog.
And be choosy of who's advise to take, and be patient with those that try to give you any but clearly don't know what they are taking about........(like me)

Rtt sad to see you go and wish we could convince you to stay... Why not stay but make a day a week of it with us....the dogfight community that is...as you can see you have many friends and always better with friends than without I think. Wish you all the best man, hope to see you soon.

family comes first kid,no need to tell you that,but lil by lil combine your love of the game with the fam..maybe introduce them and yourself to mini dogfight,it'll keep you in the loop and fun together is good medicine.

Hey brother rtt....hang in there bud. Hopefully there is someone who can help you. Enjoyed our times together and opposed. Take care of the kids and yourself.

Hey tat I'm sorry to learn of your misfortune but have a strong positive feeling you'll come out of this on top. It may take awhile so try and be patient. Glad to hear your there for your children. Keep your thoughts and mind clear and don't let them work against you. I too offer myself if you ever find the need I'm here for you.
And tat, those couple of games I wandered in to with you on the opposing side where you shoot me down every time I got within your sites taught me a valuable lesson. I better learn how to be a winner in dog fight or stay out of tat's gun range. I still love ya. Hang in and I along with the df crew will be looking forward to the day you return.
