Does anybody out there truly know the compass rose of dogfight?

People say the german base is north and the allied south, but is that true?

Heres your answer (im gonna hide it for those who don't want their little world disturbed...

Yeah but how do you know if the sun is coming up or going down? If you look at the sun it ain't moving. Besides did you look at the moss on the trees to see which way the moss is facing. Why is there no compass in the plane. No wonder I get lost so much. Is there also a MAGNETIC NORTH in the map. Crapola now I can't go to sleep, thanks a lot.

The german base is actually west, because the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. if you fly towards the mountain range just 'west' (by the old dogfight standard of direction) you get the sun right in your eyes...(no pic of that yet....but im working on it)

here we see that the sun is shining from behind the german base, the clouds have light shining THROUGH them, and their close side (as i flyfrom the allied base) is in shadow...so the german base has to be either east or west....and that

looks rather like a sunset to me, which makes the german base west, not north.

My world is utterly SHATTERED! Everything has been turned upside down, everything I knew was wrong! I hate myself now...I hate YOU for doing it! How fast can I get to the window ledge? Oh you cruel gods!

SANITY IS HIGHLY OVERRATED....
