What grinds my gears is the fact the squad wars is still soon to come and I put money that the german side (which has the d8) will win everytime! Now how is that supposed to make squad wars fair at all? Not dissing the d8, dont get me wrong I cant wait to have it in my hangar but something really needs to be done about this. I really think the allied needs like target lock (just kidding) but really -_-

also windows 8 users (not attacking anyone here) but ive noticed many of times and just recently its like a noob who is a windows 8 user in a neiport (not top tier) can out turn a dr.1?? Idk if its just me but im convienced windows 8 usuers has the turn advantage against any plane which would explain why no one can ever touch them, for intence zebraup, ziza, jimmy the great and tons more....all untouchable and if u do manage to get them it shear luck. Now im not trying to cause arguments but if this is so, then I believe it needs to be fix so that the game is more fair...

now I remember not to long ago zebra went off the wall cause he was actully being shot down and it seemed "slower" now what if that's how Iit was supposed to be? Everyone gets shoot down in turn fights even the best dogfighter, not saying ur a terrible player but hear me out ur probably not as good as u and everyone else thinks either? Just an actuation...now I apologize if anyone feels attacked forgive me thats not what this is about....just something to think about and WHAT GRINDS MY GEARS!!!!! haha xD

yall have a nice day, see ya in the friendly skies B)

Well you are entitled to your opinion, but when my tier 5 planes can't out turn planes many tiers below them, and my Spad can't out turn the friggin free planes then yeah, there is something wrong.

And yeah, I am not that good.. lots of pilots here better than me.

As a Windows 8 user ( as stated ), I think that the Windows 8 version may well turn better. But, that is IF we can get to the turn fight (im not trying to be offensive). There may well be an advantage in the close game, but, its nigh impossible to aim at a distance (in my experience). Ths stems from the fact that we can turn at either full speed or none at all, no in betweens. This also helps in the close game. Overall though, I think this is an unfair adavantage and I can see where this is coming from. But, if it is nerfed and brought down to the others, we have a disadvantage and no advantage. There needs to be a balance of advantages and disadvantages between the versions. There has to be something we can fix.
Any suggestions?

-edit-
This is assuming that we can turn better at all (im not saying that we do, just putting the idea out there that we might not turn better)
P.S (im not trying to offend anyone or sound cocky)

ur comments good dont worry, but yeah what I was saying is in such a game like we were in when u were in a neiport and I was in a dr.1 it seemed like u took me down with no problem, im not mad or anything im just concerned. But yeah I guess with the down fall of not being about to aim than the turn can pick it up :/ anyways...im just curious does anyone else feel this way or is it just me?????

Oh and team killer....thats my aunt ur talking about -_-

Anyone that thinks keyboards have an advantage should play with one to see. Try aiming when each hit of the key moves you an average of 10 feet this way or that, and that's just one of many things. As a fair minded person I'll say that in a turn battle a tilt user is more likely to make a mistake in a -long battle- then a keyboard, as in tilting at 90% in a sharp turn rather then 100% intended. A very small advantage, if it even applies.

PS: I'm always surprised when I out turn anyone in my keyboard, but I'm not skilled as MORAFs, so my fault then anything else. I could regal you with then many many problems flying on the keyboard but it's off topic :)

im a windows 8 user, and I sucked at turnfighting until I got some tips from a moraf who is damn good at it.
prior to this advice, when the se5 was the top plane, I had it maxed and players in neiports (the second teir plane) could - and did - out turn me....just a matter of skill.

as to the 100% turning, also with arrow keys, if you stop pressing them, your plane flies dead straight, no changes in direction (it doesn't level out or anything, it just has no input so it flies straight)

in a turnfight we can turn 100% or none, and yes that is an advantage, because we are always turning our fastest and hardest. but you phone users should be able to turn just as hard and fast, and be smoother with it.

Im a keyboard user and am at the point where I suck at turn fighting. Jimmy took me to school a day or so ago for sure. I had been led to believe from posts here the handheld devices, specifically kindle, are superior to keyboards. Sounds more like skill now...

If anyone would like to bring me up to speed on how to improve my skills while using a keyboard I am all ears... I will probably reward you by drinking on your birthday even. Anyone?

To Viper 10{WP} and BBLDMS7144|FR|
When turnfighting, dont just try to follow thier red arrow on your screen. Because, chances are, if they have a better plane than you, they WILL out-turn you. So try to turn where they WILL BE, as in, throw some loop-de-loops in to cut them off (on the odd chance that they aren't already on your tail). It's just a matter of getting used to your plane and finding short cuts to get behind the opponent. And, to get close enough, I get out of their line of fire, then wait a second then turn again (because that way they have already lined you up and they have to line you up again), this is the main way i can get close enough.
Hope this is helpfull to somebody!
(lol, i remember that Viper, I was in the zone that day) ;)

Also, I'm not perfect, there are a lot of better pilots out there. They are the reason I am as good as I am! Because i watch them and learn from them.

I have a question towards those who use keyboard controls:

When turning your plane, do you manually perform the bank (as in you tilt by pressing right or left, then pull up), or does pressing right or left automatically perform the bank for you?

For tilt-control users like myself, we must first "twist" our plane, then pull towards the turn.

I believe that it has the same turning mechanism apart from turning 100% all the time.

Both... I tilt my plane to the angle I want to bank then pull up.. sometimes both at the same time.. before this latest glitch I am suffering from I was an excellent dogfighter and enjoyed dogfights against the very best in the game had to offer and that's what worked for me..

What I think about this is that, d8 is hard to fight, but I've been putting up good fights, if you watch how most of these fellahs play, you can learn real well, trust me I was their being killed all the time we all was actually ...... But, learn how to fly and get better an old saying "practice makes perfect"
