Im kinda thinking that option should be removed on my cell I dont have it anyways but heres the problem the small planes hard to hit we all know that...and becouse of that kinda seems that everyone wants the german side now...out of 10 games I enter I don't get german side so there for why the heck did I buy german plane?German planes are smaller and the other side are large no real balance...

I think like the Desert Pet, the balance is certainly for Allied as many of us have bought/upgrade a German plane last day and switch to fly with ...

From what I've read here in forums is that the D8 is actually the same size as others,it just appears smaller because it has only one top wing making it harder to aquire in your cross hairs, this also reflects it's true identity. The only "small" plane on the German side is the mono wing Fokker and then you have the Airco, small and it's allied.(see Rat tat tats thread the size of the d8 is ridiculous").
Taking away the option to choose sides? Not sure I understand your reasoning. How would I join my squad, say, in a battle if I couldn't choose my plane allied or German?
I've earned a lot and spent $ on planes, It would not be cool if I could not choose to fly one of them when I wanted too or needed too.
Too many cons, I like to be optimistic, I'm sure more pilots will pick up the new top allied planes as they earn back the coin they spent on the new German ones that's my plan anyways, and I think most would agree that you can't have one top German plane without having one top Allied plane.

Yeah your right templer....just wish I could use my d8 more and on cell phones we dont have the option to pick or change sides....wish we did..

Nobody can pick sides. BUT, if you enter a server and you have the German plane for instance, you can leave quick. Then, when you press on the same server again immediately, it says "already logged in". If you hit it one more time, it will almost ALWAYS switch you to the other side.
But now that I have a DVIII, I will be content to play either side. I used to ONLY play with my Spad, now I'm ready to select either

I personally, try to pick the Allied side, so I can have more fun on my own shooting 6+ Germans! So please, keep flying the German planes!

Oh noo, that bites I didnt realize that, have you tried what McMelkor said? If I enter a game and see my squad red I just exit and re enter until I get on my squads side, does that not work on your phone?
