hello alll

I found some details about the planes in dog fight so I thought id write this. I wrote some things about the real airplnes so dont get offended

Airco D.H2: The DH.2 was the first effectively armed British plane to counter the "Fokker Scourge" that had
given the Germans the advantage in the air in late 1915.

The propeller was in the back beceause it gave the advantage of having a machine gun in the front (synchronized guns dint exist then !!!)

TOP SPEED WAS: 93mph(not155)
WING SPAN: 28ft
CLIMB OF: 5000 miles (1500km)

SPAD S.XIII: (also know as the big pup) It was one of the most capable fighters of the war, and one of the most-produced. (also the most used thats the plane George Guynemerused (french ace))

TOP SPEED WAS: 135 mph
WING SPAN: 27ft
(it had two guns!!!)

Nieuport 11: (bèbè)baby) The Nieuport 11 was basically a smaller, simplified version of the Nieuport 10 (I dint find much sorry)

TOP SPEED WAS: 97mph
WING SPAN: 27ft

Nieuport 17: The type was a slightly larger development of the earlier Nieuport 11, and had a more powerful engine, larger wings, and a more refined structure in general.

MAX SPEED OF : 110 mph
WING SPAN: 26ft and 9 in
(it had 8 rockets ????)

S.E.5(scout experimental 5 ):Together with the Camel, the S.E.5 was instrumental in regaining allied air superiority in mid-1917 and maintaining it for the rest of the war( there wasnt much buitl in WW1  so they were rare)

MAX SPEED OF : 138mph :woohoo:
WING SPAN: 26 ft
this is a plane that carried a bomb

MOST OF THE PLANES IN DOGFIGHT CANNOT CARRY BOMBS OR ELSE THEY BE TO HEAVY TO FLY !!!!!!!!!!!

well thats all i found ill write about the german planes later

THANks all for reading :silly:

"MOST OF THE PLANES IN DOGFIGHT CANNOT CARRY BOMBS OR ELSE THEY BE TO HEAVY TO FLY !!!!!!!!!!!" That's so true LOL! even though all the planes carrier bombs the bombs are over sized.. That bomb that the planes currently carrier now could level the whole enemy base :)

if anything a dirt runway would look cool... and your right bases where set up in open fields they didn't have time to pave a runway and make a control tower. The bigger runways in a town/city environment weren't even paved! plus I don't think pavement was perfected then the closest that got to pavement was packed down dirt :woohoo: lol

Sorry i keep adding on but also the pilots had scarf for what ;) they were used to wip the oil of there face when the airplane was in the air the oil from the engine (engines wernt perfect back then) would fly back and hit the aviators face (reason why they had gogles) so why not wip it with a cloth thats attached to you :) sometimes they even have pretty desingns for there squadm, reagon, ect.... and all that
