I think you said when you looked at your speedometer that you were going about 200 kph ??? That might explain some things.. 200 kph / 124 mph is significantly faster than the listed top speed in my speed chart in my old 'Choosing a New Plane & Plane Characteristics' thread... where top tier planes were flying at 165 kph bombless.

My max in a fully upgraded SE5a in that mission was approximately 160 kph.. WITHOUT a bomb... & it turns like the old flying Red Brick.. maybe a hair faster.


As this doesn't affect just myself but quite a few other Windows 8.1 players I hope zuperman figures this out...

Edit: Was in another mission with B.52 & it looks as though my planes are flying 40-50 kph slow?

I just got downed by a newer player (level 10) who was in a D.III while I was in my fully upgraded SE5a.. his plane was faster than mine AND out-turned me.

ALL my planes fly & turn slow.. I have heard from a few other Windows 8.1 pilots that this is happening to them too.. but I guess I am the only vocal one? Or is it I am the only one really noticing the disparity in plane performance?

I fly on 8.1 we used to have the advantage, now zup has us on equal terms with people useing ios, andriod so deal with it.

Hey Zeb, after I updated the game app recently, the planes seem to perform well than the last update on my pc. Planes are now performing the same as the statistics shown in the selection. I'm wondering why other win 8.1 users like you are experiencing that kind of issue.

If a fully upgraded SE5a is passed by a plane 2 tiers below it in level flight that is NOT being on equal terms.. nor is having lower tier planes being able to out turn top tier planes.. 'nuff said.
