zuperman I am just wondering if it would be possible to have each owner/moraf of a squadron submit a squadron insignia/logo to you to be automatically displayed on each pilot's plane for each particular squadron?

it's exactly the same explanation I gave on the announcement. It would lag the servers to dead right now and phones cannot store custom insignias for all squadrons. It's simply not possible.

Okay, sorry I misunderstood.. I thought that if you put the small squadron insignia/logos into the system for each squadron that it wouldn't have the same impact as a complete custom paint job.

And I also thought since the system already puts a squadron name above each pilot in a squadron I thought it could put a squadron logo on each plane in the same or similar way...

Or perhaps it could replace the squadron name with the logo? or even have both?

it's the same problem. The issue is that whatever trick you want to do, you will always need to download that insignia/graphic from somewhere, process it and display in the game. Now you need to do that 64 times per game room, since every player has to download that info for each of the other players. Now add a few hundreds players playing at the same time and downloading that info.

I hate things that increase in exponents...
