I have been playing Dogfight on my iPad Air and I find that after playing for long time (90 minutes to 2 hours) my neck gets really sore and it last for several days. I'm a Mac guy and have a nice desk top that I don't have to hunch over and would be easier to play the game on. Is there a download version for Mac desktops? I did a search and couldn't find an answer. Thanks for any info anybody can offer. :)

nope there is no mac version. Having to deal with apple is mostly a nightmare until now (months without replies, usual "we'll look into things" and we keep waiting, etc, etc...) so we begin sweating when we think of also adding mac support on top of the existing iOS one.

We are thinking of adding a facebook version, so you can play it from any desktop: pc, mac or linux. But I want to finish squadron wars before doing that.

Zupperman,

Thank you very much for the reply. I have heard that Apple can be difficult to deal with. Even as an end user and an Apple supported for many many years, they still manage to tick me off sometimes. I find interacting with the iPad Air to be difficult at times because you have to use their programs to do things, like iTunes, iMovie, iPhoto, etc. Just a pain when I should be able to plug in a SB cord and just upload or download.

As for Dogfight, I might be getting a copy of Windows 7, which I can run on my iMac in a separate partition and I should be able to play the game like I was on a PC. So there might still be a work around.

Onca again, thanks for a clear and concise answer … now about that lag stuff!!! Just kidding

P.S. I just saw a post that said you will not be doing Windows 7. But it it can work through Facebook, that gets me where I want to go. I'll just wait until you're feeling better and make some progress on the Squadrons version, after all I can still play on the iPad. Take care and thanks for all your hard work on updating the game.
