Sorry about the late reply I promised. Super busy at work and home. I had to substitute my internet drama with real life drama for a moment. So I've been doing some thinking recently since all this has came about. I haven't read most of it and probably won't so I'm just shooting this from the hip, my perspective only. So here goes.

Well you have a folks here with axes to grind. Some don't like some and others don't like them and they don't like each other. Some like some and others like them and we get a long but sometimes we don't and sometimes we do. Some of those that don't get a long talk to others that don't get a long with those and tell one another about it in private. Someone gains access to those private conversations and has one of those axes to grind and makes what should have been private, public. Some of this is old news and some of it is new. Now everyone is mad and the forum that is normally filled with drama is on the verge of bursting from the new drama. This is all similar to being a tattle tale at school or maybe a government informant/snitch. Finding your sisters diary and telling everyone what it says or letting them read it maybe. Sorry but that's the way I see it. Really no different than opening my PM box here and posting it on the thread without my permission. Some of which is good and some may be bad. Seeing how it's my PM box it's my business though, right? Really similar to the SC emails. Private and personal.

Being a new member of the voting end of M.O.M's S.C. I had the opportunity to see all the info I wanted. I did no searching and reading. Even though I'm sure there were discussions about me there. After all I was in a massively unfriendly fight with a former SC member. (Understatement)You see to me it didn't really matter what was said prior to me being invited to the group or even some of what was being said after. Anything I could have read about me would have been old news any way. Some of it long since dead until now. I would be curious to know if any of the good things that were said are being made public? Doubtful. Whip has an axe to grind so I'd bet none of that had came forward.

You see my sins were of omission. I may not have chimed in where I should have when I should have. For that I'm sorry. Not for anything I said but for what I didn't say at times about some that I really like here. Many apologies.

Thank you all for the kind words on my ban thread. I hope that I still find all my friends in the same places I found them before M.O.M and non-M.O.M alike.

Hey Ped, I received your PM. I'm happy to help as much as I can.

One little problem: I am not entirely aware of the context of Max's post. The background information of the issue is something I am completely unaware of. I could try to interpret and simplify the post for you, but without knowing what's going on, I can't tell you much.

The first paragraph of Max's post is simple enough: he hasn't been around because he's been busy. He's come back to give his input on the topic at hand (of which, I might add, I have little knowledge of).

Max goes on to point out how some members of the forum have "axes to grind". This phrase means "to want to complain to or confront somebody", sort of like "guardar rancor" in Portuguese. Some people have conversations in private, but sometimes these conversations become public, and that creates a problem for everyone. Max is trying to say that what is said through the confidentiality of a PM (or email, etc) should be kept in secret.

The majority of the rest of the post is about a topic I know little about. So to prevent the risk of misinterpretation, I'll leave that to you.

My dificulty was just on trying to tell apart what was "a long" from what was "along".
