How will we be able to paint our planes in the next update? Will it be custom or somewhat custom or will there be set designs and will we be able to upload squad emblems from our photos?

it will begin with a selection of the ones i have, then soon people can do their own but i have to test it out because that will require for every player to download the graphics when they join the game and that could be slow and maybe not possible

Well if zuperman keeps the Red Baron Fokker tri-plane as the top tier plane on the german side then perhaps he will put the plane of the 2nd highest scoring German Ace Ernst Udet as MORAF plane:





or if more properly he makes the upcoming Fokker D.VIII the top tier german plane perhaps something like this:



or if an Albatros D.VII is in our future as the top tier plane... then perhaps this striped Fokker D.VII was apparently flown by Lieutnant Josef Mai of Jasta 5

Nearly twenty years ago Flying Corp offered a custom shop, and the machines running this game are far advanced from the ones of those days. To maximize performance, each aircraft paint scheme would change by major component; top wing, other wings, tail, fuselage and cowling. That way you don't have to offer a lot of colors to get a lot of combinations. The decals on the side were stock as well, and were limited by country. Still, there were tons of combinations.

Zup could you show a few pics of the paint jobs we could have on the dVIII? Just the pictures you got from wherever you find the colors for the planes from.
