I am what you don't like Zeb. I lag all over, winning turn battles with my super-speed I dissappear from your screen, shoot you down, and kill your hangars, Darraxx. I know I lag, and I've done nothing to avoid it. Because i can't. It's about time the only person who is defending those unfortunate enough to be unable to afford ideal internet ISN'T the creator of the game, who HAS to say good things.
So I'm here to give you a little look through my eyes.
I take off. I send a chat message, make sure I'm up to speed. I have three reds ingame. Nice.
My message shows up immediately, and immediately people reply. I sigh. Finally, maybe a game i can stay in.
I fly along, my allied pilots flying smoothly beside me. Suddenly, a red dot is on my screen. Enemy killer. Level 12. Piece of cake.
I fly straight towards him, peppering him with 6 bullets before i realize he isnt getting closer to me. He's repeating the same motion over and over in a loop, getting a little closer every time. I fly past him, hoping he dies.
Next enemy up appears. [M]Tbuilt. Uh-oh. I muster all my concentration, and shoot him down, but DAMMIT, he's looping too. Same with the next guy.
I pull over the hangars and half-heartily drop my bomb. I watch two hangars light on fire, and i know i probably didn't deserve that, but when life gives you lemons...

Suddenly everything speeds up. A dozen chat messages tell me I'm gone. The kill feed fills so fast it blurs, but i can see i got credit for ONE kill. At the bottom of the feed, it says, twice, "hangar bombed by G.I. Mac McMelkor"
Then i go down. I respawn, and start to take off, dissapointed. Then i die again. And again.
Out of all that, all i got was one kill and three deaths. Yeah, the hangars are cool, but two minutes later, a message apoears on my center screen : connection lost.
I leave the game, annoyed as hell. I'm level 20, and I've got 400 wins. Thats sad. I've lost so many cinnections with one bomb to go.
So don't act like people like me are a plague. I'm fighting for this game, because i love it. EVERYTHING ZUPERMAN HAS EVER SAID ABOUT THIS IS 100% TRUE. It IS EXACTLY like burning down your house to kill termites. It's a curse. Trust me.

So I was feeling all bad for you and now if I understand your response correctly you don't leave the game when your lagging up the place. Ok like was said I'm.not talking about you and the players the lag you know it and try your best. You don't use it as a weapon. But there are those that know they lag and cannot be shot down so they use it like a super power. Now the sqaud from Brazil knows that if they stay out of their sever they cannot be killed and that's just what they do I've seen them in every other sever except the one that zup got for them. I to have only a 3g connection and sometimes it bites hard and when it that bad I just wont play not because it sucks to play but because its just not fair to other players when I time warp half way to the base and no one sees me or when no one can shoot me because I lag. And if I'm.in a game and I am the only one lagging I will leave and try another server .so of your going to use lag as a weapon I wont feel bad for you. That just means you forcing with the others. Why don't you try and fly on 3g only like I said I don't have any wifi and for the most part I do fine. Birde your not part of the solution then your part of the problem.

I don't want tolag. But I'm going to lag in almost every game, so I'm not gonna leave a game early, especially if I'm doing well

We have frontier, and the cable was damaged by the long, awful winter up here. They're gonna hopefully fix it this Summer, but we can't afford to switch to Comcast or others.

Just a side note, the south American servers don't help at all. The Brazilian pilots seem to avoid that server and will intentionally fly in the American and European servers just because they know The lag is bad.

I understand the south american server is quite new, I play from Brazil and I can feel that I get a fast response to my typing on chat when I log in there, but I've played a few games there against some of the Liga do Brasil and they were lagging there too! Maybe not as bad as in other servers, not sure. I also have seen American and Europeans good players lagging a lot there.

I like to play in the European and american servers to meet my dogfighter friends...

Hey I've said this in my posts before I HAVE NO WIFI CONNECTION. ALL I HAVE IS 3g. Now that being said again. Almost all the time my 3g is not lit up because I have a weak signal and a crappy carrier. So I so lag sometimes and those who know me also know that I do ask if I'm.lagging and when I know that.I am I will leave the game. But for the most part I only experience the lag that all players do. I fly just fine in all he servers but there are days some servers I cannot play in. To know you lag and use it for your advantage is just plain low. Also to know you lag and references se to leave a game where your lag disrupts the other players because they have to chase you and hope to shoot you down is also low. So m for zup doing something to limit heavy laggers to certain servers is fine by me. And I say this knowing that I to might be put into these servers. So Mac you can take that and put in your pipe and smoke it. And don't forget your not the only one that has paid for this game so your not special your just like everyone else. And if you can give me a good reason why the players that aren't lagging have to suffer players that lag so bad they disrupt the game I will just give up. And live with super lagers. sure. I've got a great reason. That's the whole point of the first post. Because I suffer just as much as you do. All players created equal, as you just said. All players have equal servers. I still want to fly with my friends, and I'm sure Gunners Inc. would stand behind me in its entirety if you try to segregate me. Separate and equal doesn't work. That was proved years ago. Those servers would be absolute hell.

Ok you can't shoot anyone. You said in your pm you have 4g but the signal is weak. And like I've said so is mine. And I do fine. Maybe you should try that. And if you noticed the whole thing that started this was not only me and zebra but many others to is that there are guys that use their lag as a weapon. Please understand their are so many that do this it ruins the game. I'm sorry you lag like that. I really am but something needs to be done and soon. So I'm.sorry if you fall under the lagging part. These guys are going to take this great game down just think of someone that might buy the game. Runs into these guys that can't be killed. Would you buy the game. Of courses not.

I don't even know what you guys are talking about with different servers for different areas. What device are you using? I bet its not the internet but the processor in your device. I first started playing this on my droid phone but it was real slow and it sucked real bad and still does but I didn't realize the difference. But then my boy got a kindle HDX for Christmas and now I play on that and it seems to have a faster processor and works much better. I bet its your devices that are causing lag due to slow processors more then your internet connection.

Lag is one thing; low framerate is another. If you changed device keeping the same settings for internet access, and things went better, then there was no lag on your end (on none of your devices). What is not the case for most or people around.

I agree with Trey, MANY of us have had troubles with different devices and posted about it. I even had a Samsung tablet (for a single day before getting rid of it) that was useless despite getting 135mbps connection speed on the media band of my dual router - 135mbps! The processor wasn't fast enough to play Dogfight with, or the other games I had that were demanding on memory.

That's awesome. You will intentionally stay in a game where you can fly invisible through the crowd and bomb, as I witnessed in that game, even after being called out for it. Playing lag as a shield isn't going to earn anyone's sympathy. If you get a good game connection, stick. If not, GTFO.

2) lag is NOT a shield. It is a temporary shield at the very best, and in the end, every bullet you put into me WILL register, and did.
3) Read the beginning post where I explain in detail, lag is NOT an advantage.
4) I'm gonna lag in EVERY game. If I'm lagging bad enough, the server will kick me, like it did earlier. Why should I just go to a different game that DOESN'T have you in it?
5) Rude language is proven, 100%, completely ineffective. If you tell me to GTFO, It'll make me stay, if anything. If you kindly request that I leave, I might. I don't have to, but I might.

You did bomb the carrier, and then left, or lost connection, or whatever, right after I asked about the fairness of that. Hans one and yakuza can verify. If you are going to stay and play as a lagger, then don't expect flowery courtesy.

Hmm. Well, i didnt get point credit for it... And I dont expect my courtesy to be flowery, just not overly rude. I hope we have an understanding, because i like you.

Not all lag is created equal.

The lagger "Heart" is far worse than most laggers. It may not be his fault but he knows he is very hard to hit. Not impossible, but very difficult. I will no longer stay in a game with him red or blue. If there are more than a few who lag as bad as be does the whole game will become worthless.

I'm not being hyperbolic here, just logical. What point is there to playing when the game play is so bad? As it is, he has "every right" to be here. Okay, so now what?
