I believe the cause of this is LAG , Zup, ban him and been done of his whinging!

But seriously, I have this ingame and it is always because the connection to server was lost but the "connection lost" screen fails to appear.

Well.I've been in two games where I got kicked one was with a lot of players the other was a ctc and I was alone. And the message kicked came up. But - have been in ctc games where you sit there and the bar wont move on one ship. I think there's some glitches here and there and they pop up at random times

I gotta say Wumper, you may be on to some thing. I was in an out numbered btc game when a few reds left and some blues jumped in. The screen goitched out, and then the blues that came in on my side turned red and became a 6-2 instead of a 4-4. Then my bomb would not drop at all, fire button stopped working. I took off to defend my carrier stil at 90%, ome got passed me and won the game with one bomb. Ugh wth is wrong here?

I just been in a capture carrier game and one player at least was built proof. And he knew it. I recorded 8 shots into him and he wasn't even smoking, nor did he try to avoid being shot. He could shoot me okay though.
Another player in the same game kept appearing then disappearing. I commed wow where did you come from? He commed back "lag" then immediately appeared behind me as I was landing on the carrier,shot at me and then disappeared again.
Zep was in the same game too and also had trouble as did all the blues.
Okay when it comes to computer science I am not the brightest thing in the house, but can that all happen with lag?

I also have come across a person who had very definite control over his lag.

Are their folks who have control over that lag, THE ANSWER IS YES

I feel this is a very legitimate subject. There is probably only a handful though and I'm not sure how it can even be proven and prevented.

As we were just about to win the game, several planes came from no where to play. They were very active and appear to have had an external device from the way they flew and avoided getting shot.

I landed under the carrier. No other plane was on the carrier. But the bar failed to move. As my time started to expire, I came out and circled the carrier looking for an enemy. No enemy visible. I landed again. The bar still did not move. The other carrier bar was moving, but my bar was not. I suggested in a message, during the game, that it appeared the game was being controlled by the system. My message was not posted. I rewrote the message again, and it to was not posted and I was kicked out of the game.

I resent that action, as should all players that care about the game.

I am sure management will insult us again and suggest it was lag.

when someone uses a lag switch it is very noticable. one moment they fight fine, and die just as easily...the next they start jumping around (only sometimes) and they can take unlimited numbers of hits without dieing (normally when they are going to bomb your base is when this happens...and only then...or in tough fighting situations...) i've researched lag switches (davy thats your fault) and found that it is even more obvious in Dogfight...because PHONE USERS CANT USE LAG SWITCHES only laptop users...AND LAPTOPS DONT LAG MUCH (if at all) IN THIS GAME!
