Thanks for all the input so far. While I'm using the iPad Air, and that may be causing some of my issues, I was also wondering if there was a place where I could read about the different features of the game and how they work. Right now it seems to be a "discover as you go" kinda thing. The problem is when you are playing the game, you are playing the game, not experimenting with the features. That's why I was asking about the manual. I did find some info on the forum but it takes a lot of looking to find a nugget here and a technique there. So I figured there must be one place with a listing of everything I needed to know about Dogfight and how to play it effectively.
As for the iPad Air and sticky functions, it just must be "an Apple thing". I know Apple has it's own way of doing things and are not always responsive. I'm sure Mr. Zupperman has had his share of frustration dealing with Apple's requirements. As an end user, I get a bit frustrated too by the shortcomings, not only of this game, but of the device in general (like uploading photos, music and videos and no flash player or MS Word documents). Can Dogfight be played on my desk top iMac? I think some people can play it on a PC
VonHulK, thanks for your input. I am able to get the tank to work and shoot from the parachute, but the controls are almost non functional, to the point where I almost never use them. I usually just retry back to my plane and keep going. BUT, shooting from the parachute can gain you many more wins and that's why I was trying to get some pointers on how to best use it. And how is it that when some are shot down they stay as a soldier and shoot with a machine-gun rather than to to the tank? Just wondering.
Once again, Thanks to everyone who has posted.
