Hi all, I have noticed some players with great stats that when you shoot at them they skip.

I will not name anyone however i have heard from some players that they may be useing something called a lag switch.

IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE AND IF SO HOW CAN IT BE STOPPED, OR CAN IT BE STOPPED?

I believe that most of your questions have been addressed on the Brotherhood of Unkillable Laggers thread.. but awhile back someone (I think Blue MaX) posted a youtube video on making a lag switch.. after than I swear there was more than double the amount of laggers!

My solution for them is simple.. just keep flying as if they were doing whatever they were doing before they either froze or disappeared and keep shooting. You'll usually get them when they reappear.

As for the bulletproof ones.. idk what to say about that.. since it's always the same few I doubt it can be attributed to just lag.. or else many other players would occasionally exhibit that as well. I think it's either a device byproduct or an intentional software/hardware cheat.. but that's just my theory.

Davy, google lag switch, very interesting information. Only pc, laptop users can make one, but it is a real issue.

I have known you as some of the best players in the game. You have my respect and admiration for your talent and honor. But, the lag issue has been around forever. There could very well be a lag switch, and some players may be using it. But when a player lags, it is important to realize that there is a good chance that it is unintentional and probably unavoidable due to the problems with the game servers. I would hope that you guys don't think of laggers as CHEATERS. According to some players, I lag, but I now I'm not a CHEATER, because I enjoy playing a fair game. I play fairly, and unfortunately, the lag is out of my control (if someone provides me a way of fixing it, I would gladly appreciate it!). It really in my opinion, depends on the day and the server. Point is, let's not be too quick to judge others, especially if game glitches are the predominant cause of this lag. I'm not here to argue, just respectfully proposing a point about what I think lag is, and what are the true intentions of laggers.


Bottom Line: Lag is an issue, but the majority of laggers are probably not to blame for the problem. That's my opinion. I also agree with Zebra that the easiest solution right now is to keep shooting in that general direction where the enemy is, and the plane will most likely come down! I'll see you in the skies.

Just wondering, how does the game act if someone has a bad signal? Or maybe playing with a 3G phone. Is that like lag

Thanks for the responses guys, i appreciated it. I know there is lag in all the games however there are now some who appear to be able to control it. You fire at them and they start skipping. It's very controlled. At least for a certain few. I'm curious.

Just googled lag switch... it says u need to be a level 8 wizard, have no life and be a super dorkasuorus LOL! But its only possible for those that use a xbox controller

So they are cheating! And I thought it was my network!! This made my kdr worse.....i had lots of kills but now my deaths are catching up.....and I also shouted at my internet provider thinking he did something to my connection service when all the time it was the work of spineless lily livered cheaters!

After doing more 'research' (google lol! ) I have discovered there are both physical lag switches as well as apps for android & other platforms as well as wireless lag switches & 'flooder' programs available for many different devices.

What does this all mean? It means that no matter what device you use or game you play there is likely to be a cheat of some sort available.. & those weak-minded players with no sense of honor or fair-play that need to cheat to build up their fragile egos after being pummeled by more skillful players can & will find a way to cheat..

Davy - what your saying is absolutely true. There seems to be more of that now then ever before. It makes it impossible to play the game fair with them doing what they do. It is frustrating if it continues and it not fixed. You and I and others like us will just have to find a better game to get addicted to and advise others against paying for this one. We are being made jerks buy everybody blaming " Lag ". I also see these rigorous holy than thou guys that always complain about "sneaking" and " camping ". Some of these guys have kept the same name from the start. And I remember when they shot their own team in back continuously and bombed their own hangers to get ahead. This was when the game first started and there were no penalties in doing that. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone in the way you feel.

When will you be sending me the new extra version of the Super Lag Switch?

Few days ago I saw you using it at the new south american server in a zep game, you were warping going back and forth, disappearing and reappearing somewhere else, and shooting me down with a spray of bullets while I saw you going forth in front of me.

That's amazing, I desperately need that to enter in the games where the whiners are, I need to get lots of whine, doctor said its good for my health...or is it "wine"... not sure, I lost my English dictionary when a puma entered my hut and messed it all up.

Also you need to send me the manual for the new Super Aiming Device, mine needs some adjustment for every time I point my guns at you I get shot down in less than a second and I can't hit you.

My friends! I have found a lag switcher! How do I know you might ask ? well it was a nice game and it was going okey there was a slight breeze in the air but upon this fine day I came across a lag switcher I shot him well over 40 times and he didn't go down! plus he would be coming at someone then he would disappear the reappear on the side/behind them and when I said hes a lag switcher he left the game!

Just to make it clear though I thought it wouldn't be necessary:

I consider Davy to be one of the best and niciest players of this game.

Just wanted to show how lag may happen to anyone, due to distance from server, net issues and so forth...

In a few of the games I see nitrous tanks, ill try to catch one for you...

Lol guys, yes I am a very nice and wonderful player, I am not a bully.

The ZEP games are so bad and laggy that there is no way to tell if anyone is cheating. The ZEP games are horrible pretty much all the time.

I've been told that I lag sometimes to. I've got some information about that upcoming in a few days that might interest folks.

My super aiming devise is certainly worth the money and available to all dogfight players. You don't even need a manual as I can install it from my end. All you have to do is send $29.99 and I will install the aiming devise into your wifi or hard line through my computer. It will greatly improve your aim however you may not notice it right away against better players, please send the $29.99 ASAP.

Ha you bought a lag switch from Davy. I did to and I followed the instructions but when I hit it my neighbors garage door opens up

What is your LEG SWITCH doing or not doing? I don't remember selling you a "leg switch". Are you talking about the "lag switch". It sounds to me like you should upgrade to the multi speed lag switch. The multi speed lag switch removes all the connectors and therefore takes the guesswork out of installing it. Please purchase ASAP. Thank you. I'm thankful I can help you all.
