Well, today i took an IQ test at www.iqtest.com (seems legit) because ytf not? I don't know if my smartphone will auto-link www.iqtest.com, but it'd be cool if you guys could check it out. It is probably stupid and broken, because I got a 143, and I'm REALLY stupid. I guess I'm a book genius, but a real-life idiot. Oh well.

I think I basically cheated because I kept retaking the test again and again to the point where I memorized the answers.

My first score was 128...

My score was 95 and im in 7th grade...don't know if thts bad. But since it was my test...its most likely bad. Lol

You can still get your score emailed to you free of charge, you only have to pay if you want to buy their "profile", or whatever they called it, that breaks this overall score down further, into smaller categories.

Ok, I found it.

I got a 142, and was really excited, but Then my conjoined twin reminded me that since we can't avoid taking the test together we should divide that score by two, which means we're both retarded. Bummer.....

This is similar to other tests I have done over the years.

I must admit, though my confirmed on record IQ is a 152, I'm not much of one to measure based on standardized testing, rather, I think it a highly ineffective way to measure one's true genius. We are all gifted and we don't need a test on paper to tell us where our heart and mental ability are greatest.

I completely agree with the spirit of this statement; however , when I took the full paper version in my early 20s it shed light on a few points which had perplexed me about myself. I've always been quite "advanced" in certain things yet there are other things that just elude me.

The IQ test was broken into 3 sections. I excelled in 2 and was average in the other. (The fact that I can't remember the three sections nor which two I did well in is probably somehow revealing).

I always felt that it was a useful tool for self analysis and was influential for making some choices during a "career delema".

yeah, & that's why I felt comfortable putting this topic up. It's not something we need to take too seriously, and nobody will feel injured or belittled over their lesser score.
