I agree, I'm hearing broken records...
Really, as long as people don't verbally abuse me or others in the game, I couldn't care less how everyone plays. There's a counter to everything. If someone is spawnkilling, use your brakes to take off faster. If someone is teamkilling, shoot 'em down once to let them know who's boss (they usually stop after that point). If someone drops their bomb, drop yours as well. If someone sneaks up high or around back, then cover those areas. If you're hopelessly outnumbered or outskilled, then fight 'till the bitter end.
If all else fails, there's always another server to join.
All this constant nitpicking on everything that everybody does in the game helps nothing towards the community at large. People will always be spawnkilling, teamkilling, bomb-dropping, map-sneaking, and bad-mouthing. When things like this start to genuinely infuriate you, perhaps it's best to stop and think for a moment. "Do the actions that take place behind this little screen truly affect me in such a serious way?"
If you answer yes, consider taking a break from DF. You'll find that, after days or weeks of not playing, the game really is what it is: a game.
We've all had our times when we let ourselves get carried away in this little community, either in the skies or in the forum. It's fun to immerse yourself into the game, and it's fun to roleplay, I understand that. But at the end of the day, we all have to stop and realize that this is a online multiplayer video game.
Don't let it get to you.
