PEOPLE THAT DROP IN A BOMBING GAME.

This horse has been beaten to death many times over folks. And there's never a solution, So, I say instead of bitching about it, Petition Zup to do something about it.

What can he do?... Maybe a post drop timer giving you 2 to 3 minutes after you drop to reload at your base or boat or you crash just like in the capture the carrier game. This will give defenders time to ward off a attack but not time to chase them down, It would stop camping out right and stop almost all spawn killing.

If you have other ideals plez feel free to add them here.

You asked for it now Dr. You know youre going to get a dozen or more comments trying to justify their actions or explain why and when they drop.

Heres what I do to dropers, I drop my bomb go after the droper beat him down over and over till they leave.99.9% of the time they leave. I can defeat 99% of them

Its part of the game, whining about it and asking for a fix is a slippery slope...what next, no sneaking, cap the ceiling at 1500, expand the radar to the whole map?

Tactics, if there's a dropper then drop and fight. Creating artificial constraints solves nothing.

I think that depends on what kind of droppers you are talking about.

First off, trying to change the game and conform everyone's game play to one certain standard is not really fair. you can try and change it to eliminate droppers, but I highly doubt a fix like that will ever happen

Ain't no use flogging a dead horse......as they say.

Droppers, sk ers, campers will not be accepted in any good squad and make no friends.
Most of them do not yet know that or simply don't care.

Both kind can be educated in a different way.....and doing so makes the game all the more fun, doesn't it?

DAVY says, u know general you have a good point. Sometimes a person has to play to whatever strength his devise has, for instance on my galaxy 2 that I bought a couple if months ago I have a much better chance in a dogfight however i lose my capability for straight head on shooting.

On my ipad I can pretty much dominate head on shots on most all players except the very best it would be a 50/50 draw, however i cant dogfight worth crap.

Therefore I choose to use the ipad because I like head to head action and I just try to do the best i can in a dogfight.

Yes it would dramatically change the game if when you spawned into a bombing mission you were actually in a BOMBER! and only 1 or 2 on each side in fighters! Especially if the bombers carried multiple bombs like the Airco does in the practice mission!!!

Nah... It could go a lot lower.

We should kill/ban/ignore/hostilize TEAM KILLERS AND DIRTY MOUTHS. Cuz these scums have no excuses, no "althoughs", no "special circumstances" to help them to justify their acts. Ban them, period.
But for all other things (spawn killing, camping, sneaking, dropping), we need to learn to adapt to them, trying to stop them INGAME, with countertatics. If you prefer not to do it, just leave and look for another server.
Camping is unfair, when done by an outnumbering team, for example, but lopsided games are way more unfair, and we learned to live with them, didnt we?;
Spawn killing is annoying and get our nerves, but much worse (and more frequent and more disgusting and irritating) are spawn crashes, and we learned to live with them, didnt we?;
Sneakers are... Well, sometimes I DO SNEAK, unless I am on the bigger team, but I can not blame a pilot that simply do what, after all, a real pilot WOULD DO to accomplish his mission with the less losses possible.
And so on... Dead horse getting one more kick, but I cant resist.
The fact is that seeing people whining forever on forum about these "questionable game styles" (im being diplomatic) is even more annoying than these "game styles" themselves!
Today I learned a new lesson, and I will share it with you all: Its just a game!

Yes I agree with most of you that this topic has been brought up and discussed in length many times over. I was noticeing a new crop of post complaining about Droppers, SKers, and Campers. So I asked the question, What can be done and what would be done about them, I agree that there's not much can be as far as changing the game parameters or putting limits on players. Most of us old folks just drop and stop this behavior by doing same.(when it's a new player that thinks their good) but when it's one of the old ones then most of us change servers rather than become easy targets for point mongrels.

That's why I asked what would you do?

And Davy, the last time I brought dancers to the doghouse they went home early complaining that some red headed guy ketp telling them he was their MoM....

If you think about it logically, what WWI Ace strapped on a bomb to defend? I drop if there is a wasp's nest above my runway. Once it calms down - if it does - I start to carry again. I don't see how this is "dishonorable." It seems like a good tactical decision to me.

As we see, everyone can post new opinions, and when we think that all the possible subjects have been already put on the table, we are amazed by new things that pops out, new complains... Just more wood in the fire, to the end of time... Jeez!

Play the way you want, let others play as they will!! Report team killers on the black list - and for the other "bad behaviors" just deal with them INGAME!

Easy Ped you'll blow a vessel. We all know this has been talked about over and over but I think new people to the game should have a place to vent their frustrations about it. God knows WE did, This lets them see this is nothing new that it's been going on form the beginning. And yes if you drop you can expect to be labeled a coward by some and a cheater by others, But at the end of the day this is still just a game and there's many different ways to play it. The main thing to ask yourself is, Did I have a good time? Will I play it again? If you answer yes then what else matters? Play, drop, spawnkill, camp, enjoy because in short theres nothing can be done or will be done about any of it so do the same and just have fun.... After all the game is called Dogfigth...... Not bomb and fight.

Ok.hears a thought on campers in btb missions just remove ( you've been.repaired ) when you bomb the hangers this way they can't stay hang around ans sk. For to long they will either get shot or leave. Being repaired at the enemies base is something I've never under stood zup put it -n there so pilots could get back to their base not to camp and sk.

Because the game is titled Dogfight.... I love camping. It keeps ya'll busy while the rest of my team has time to get there. Then... Hopefully they camp on you too... And win.

And sorry Dave... If my team is not doing well, I'm gonna drop every time just past the runway so that I can push you back. Once you are pushed back, then I'll bring a bomb, and hope someone is camping on the other side so that I can use it.


My one exception to this is if the teams are really mismatched. Then, if you do that, you are a jerk. Other than that, this is a war game. There are plenty of wussie games for those who can't handle losing.

For instance, Dr Dave is one of my real life friends. And, although I'm not as good as he is at this game, if he's in red, for the next few minutes he is my mortal enemy. I'm going to do everything I can to make him absolutely miserable. After it's over and he's done handing me my ass, he's still my friend. Wanna know why? IT'S A GAME!!!
