I've been reading through some threads searching for help on practise mission 3. I've bombed the hangers etc landed on both airfields and still can't complete the level. What am I missing? Any help with the obvious is greatly appreciated.

If my memory serves me right...thats the "snow level"...(if it is not I hope it doesnt sidetrack)....this requires such a "steady hand".....The day I completed that level....I literally had to grip the iphone to the point of pain in my fingers....Its the same "steady of hand, arm and wrists" as when one uses the chute soldier...each target you shoot at and bomb at requires this "super strong steady hand, arm and wrists" stronger than one normally need in other practice missions.

I'm sure others may have additional advice and suggestions...if you have specific areas you need help on let me know and we "old timers"...will try to help in anyway we can

Just a quick thought. Are you sure it's the actual 10 hangers you are bombing and not the outbuildings? It took me a while to suss that out.

Just to clarify;

The "hangars" are the 8 identical small buildings right next to the runway. If you hit them with a bomb they will catch fire, burn and eventually disappear. The other brick buildings will never show a mark.

It took me several runs to figure this out.

The problem is it never says mission complete!! I go there, shoot everyone (one plane. Two tanks. Used to have two planes). Bomb all hangers. Then when in the past that completed it it doesn't. I think the missing enemy plane may be the problem but he never shows up. York

Ok, im definitely bombing the hangers, destroying the two tanks and the one fighter that attacks. Never looked about for another fighter so i will give that a go next. I read whilst searching for the answer that i had land to on the enemy airstrip. I tried that, realized i was still carrying two bombs so took off, dropped the bombs and landed again. Nothing! landing is what i find most difficult to do so i was gutted that i had to do it twice and still not complete the level.

Yep G82. That's them. And you have to knock out an enemy fighter. The other buildings don't count.

I think there's a problem with it ,I completed it when I first started,I tried again last week got the plane and the hangers,but the mission would not complete.

Hey G82, you are missing a few planes. There are 3 that come to your base in the begaining. Then two more planes and two tanks at enemy base. Then bomb all 8 hangers and your done.

Gizmo541 i think your right with there being an error.

I'll just get back into playing multi-player, loving them dogfights!!

When I did that one I there was only 1 plane and after bombing I had to fly around for like 5 min before it completed the level.
Dont know if you tried waiting that long or not , it took me a few trys before I decided to wait.
Worth a try good luck
